| | Preferred Ships: Harry/Hermione and Hermione/Snape get first priority. I'll do most Hermione fics though, except if she's paired with Dumbledore or someone. That's just too squicky for my tastes. In general, I'm not that into slash, though I do quite like the odd short Harry/Draco, Harry/Snape and Snape/Lupin story, so it's worth asking for one-shots or short chapters. I hate Ginny, so if she's a main character, just... no. If your story doesn't fit into any of those ships but has Harry, Hermione or Snape as a main character, feel free to ask if I'm available. | | Notes: Currently available for one-shots only. Possibly available for multi-chapter fics that are only about as long as a one-shot in total. I write in British English, but I am familiar enough with American English to beta it fairly well. I'm love Brit-picking, and I'm usually good at spotting canon errors. I'm still getting the hang of commas according to TPP standards, but I'm pretty sure I have improved drastically. I would prefer not to beta fics with excessive torture or rape in them, but I will if it is necessary to the plot and not just gratuitous. I'm generally very open-minded about content, but I don't read or beta stories about bestiality or parent/child incest. I will usually have a chapter back in a few days, but life gets in the way sometimes, so my official turnaround time is one week unless I specify otherwise. I can beta for spelling and punctuation only, if you wish, but I like dealing with sentence structure and vocabulary. We can go over what you're looking for in a beta in more specific terms once you contact me. |

I am a stickler for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and I can usually pick out canon errors. I also want to be more than just a beta who corrects minor errors. I would also like to help if the writer is having difficulty in achieving their vision or if they feel they are going off the stories' path...so I wouldn't have a problem giving advice for stories from a reader's perspective. Length of stories does not matter either!
