 Fawkes was preening himself on the Head Table when Crookshanks and Hedwig approached. All three watched a gaggle of loud, overly excited and made up girls pass by. Most seemed to be foreign and called Mary Sue. "Another of your pet's strange ideas, that Exchange Program," Hedwig said to Fawkes. Fawkes nodded slowly. The familiars listened to the girls loudly lamenting the lack of a 'proper Thanksgiving', then making plans to celebrate it at Hogwarts. Crookshanks twitched his ears and fluffed out his tail. "Don't look now, Fawkes, but those American exchange students are giving you some very strange looks." |
