I'm a long suffering student of political philosophy who believes the ancient Greeks solved most everything that we are encountering in this rapid modernity (since Machiavelli actually) in their esoteric writings. I'm a great fan of the Potter books though. And I am very wild about Severus Snape... I will try as far as possible to put up completed stories as I dislike it when stories leave the readers "hanging" as it were.
Since May 2007, I have been "dispossessed". Here I am, stuck in purgatory, trying to escape. While trying to escape from purgatory (and sinking to the flames of hell), I juggle many things, such as (a) cleaning flats, (b) cleaning loos, (c) giving private tuition in GCSE Biology, (d) ghost writing in policy papers, (e) freelance editing, (f) freelance academic research, (g) freelance translation from French and German into English.
On weekends, I also teach classical Chinese dance, specialising in dances of the Tang dynasty (called the dun huang era) and ethnic minority dances of the peoples in China and Taiwan. Much to the chagrin of the local Chinese dance community, I'm the only one that teaches in English.
I may be a little remiss in posting my stories. However, fear not - I will try to post complete stories. I tend to handwrite my stories first (for reasons that I shall not elucidate here). When they are done and edited, I type them. After a round of editing, I send them to my betas. Then it gets back to me - edited, proofread and compiled. After a final read through, they are posted.
After a brief haitus from mid 2006 to late 2007, I found myself taking the pen again in a possible new Hermione Granger/Severus Snape fic. I do not know whether this will be my swansong in the HG/SS fanfic world, or whether I will produce another fic.
