This is one of my busiest times of year, so it will be a short review, without too much begging for an update.  However I have more time on my hands next week, I even might have enough to fit some sleep in.Loved this chapter, as always.  BUt I also nwant to say I enjoy the reviews and responses almost as much.  You have, and rightly so, many regular reviewers.  Keep writing you are a very talented author.

Awkwardness doesn't even begin to cover this situation.  Snape will be livid if he finds out who Hermione is.  But how will Sidney feel?  Probably more embarrassed than ever.

Good old times, escapsim?I find her idea to give him no excuse "that this has never happened" quite mean but  good. he needs some reminding."Talk is overrated" and "Vulgar public display" both from his mouth, priceless!!Was shocked first, when I read that he gave her detention with Filch, but he knows how to take care of his girl. That was a very intersting, quite human sociable, sensitive (when it comes to furniture) Filch you composed here, thank you, very different, very, well, human.!And they finally did have a talk - till he snorted. cute.Her declaration to him was soo cute.He can not but love her for this. but no, he falls asleep. "Is it a relationship wha we have." THE of all questions.Not only to be asked in fanfiction, but also in real life.Hope, they will find a way to make it one.Why is it that the portraits always come in with a handy information every now and then. I am astonished how they keep pushing the story. They are just canvas and paint, but oh soo much more.Luna, Ginny, Blaise, Hermione, Severus.Hope, there will not be any more on this list. it is getting dangerous. But what would life at Hogwarts be without some danger - now that Voldy is over and done with.I would love to see McGonagalls face when Hermione has her little talk with her. hm, what will she do with her information.I'm soo curious.But first let me thank you for another wonderful chapter!And then let me beg you to be quiiick with your next chapter. ok? please?

Dear Sunny, I am absolutely LOVING this story! I found it on TPP's home page with the latest update. The context of painter/model is wonderful, and actually a setting that I've not seen in any sshg stories before. Congrats on your originality!Besides the great plotline, I also really like the way you've built and are using Blaise's character. He makes a wonderful intermediary for Severus and Hermione. It's real!!! I feel so happy for them! But I'd really like to know more about that "loophole" the fat lady talked about...

So, he called her Grace and she didn't react.  Probably because she was busy ;)  I wonder if she noticed and is okay with it, or if she will be upset that he didn't/couldn't call her Hermione.  Or maybe she didn't even hear him at all.I like that she asserted herself in telling him not to clean up.  She knows him too well, because he probably will try to find a way to pretend they didn't do anything.  Of course she doesn't entirely get the upper hand since he gives her detention with Filch.I love that Luna is on to them.  Works out nicely that two of the three people who know about them are a couple, so they don't have to keep it a secret.I like Hermione's idea of exercise.  When you put it that way, it's much more appealing!I am glad that they just talked that night, because really, they need to know where they stand without all of the physical stuff getting in the way.  Of course they shouldn't  do that all the time, because I happen to like when the physical stuff gets in the way ;)And Hermione with a plan is always a good thing.  I hope the story of Dumbledore and McGonagall was sordid and scandalous ... but no details necessary. I was having withdrawls, so it is a good thing that you are back.  Please, stay for awhile.  Great chapter!

Aren't you the sneaky one? This isn't at all what I expected from the sneak-peek you teased me with a few weeks ago!!I loved that last bit. Wonderful unbridled lemony passion at the beginning only to be so sweetly contrasted with that lovely image of Hermione's head in his lap, and Sev so sweetly snug & relaxed enough to have fallen asleep - something about the pure sweetness of the two of them in such a trusting repose made me get all choked up... Their intimate scenes contrasted with the 'public' scenes of other members of the school body, Ron & Harry (& the Quidditch hooplah), Ginny, Blaise and Luna,  the portraits and even Filch, is such wonderful dynamics - thank you, truly wonderful work - happy beta K is back on-line & we, your fans, can nudge you for the next chapter asap!

Ah....sunny...  Thank you for updating.  Excellent as always.  Love the brief Blaise exchange, "Pillock.  Nutter. Tosser.  Muppet."  Muppet?  I also really enjoyed Hermione's validation of her attraction to Severus, 'More than what?  A good man?  I found one.", etc.  Lovely, heartfelt sentiments.  But I wonder if Severus will take them to heart?  More soon, please!

Great chapter.  Hermione's thinking of a plan, can't wait to see what she comes up with.  I understand him calling her Grace since he really does not want to think of her as Hermione just as yet.  I loved that he fell asleep stroking her hair while she was on his lap.  Just proves how comfortable he is with her and how much he trusts and loves her.  I had to cringe when she told him to leave the evidence, yuck that must have felt really gross for the remainder of the day.

I've just plowed through this whole story in one sitting. A very entertaining read!! Hermione's persistence is delightful; Severus' nobility is compelling (and so hot). The supporting cast is in fine form, particularly Blaise (did he purchase all the portraits?). And now, I am most intrigued about this loophole...

I think somebody forgot to cast a Contraceptus Charm -- uh-oh. Or maybe I missed it in all that distracting action :) But I did wonder if Hermione will be looking back to that moment when she noticed the date on Snape's calendar and smacking herself upside the head ... we'll see! Great chapter, as always!
