What a dynamic start. Interesting question about whether Harry needed to win Draco's own wand to win the Elder Wand's mastership. I'd have thought that winning two out of three of Draco's wands would be enough, but you might be right. In any case, the transfer of mastery from Draco to Harry in canon never did seem believable. I wouldn't have cavilled at ignoring it altogether.

Ah, yes. The gordian knot of wand transferred...in my opinion it was a bit, well, odd in the canon. But, to be perfectly frank, this chapter is just an excuse to perform massive canon surgery anyway. AU writers are scalpel-happy, yes? :)
