Oh, that manipulator Dumbledore forced Severus into marrying Hermione so that she wouldn't be removed from Hogwarts, didn't he? Poor Hermione! I'm sure Severus is handling that with his usual mature and charming attitude. As this is to be so A/U, I have no idea what to expect, which is quite exciting! I'll look forward to your next chapter.

he battled to keep the old man out of his mind, until at last he yielded, as he always did, in the end. ... Solemnity was swiftly replaced by inappropriate glee, and Dumbledore’s eyes began to twinkle again.
grrrr.... Dumbles..... Are you sure that Dumbles gets to live in this story?Looking forward to your next post.

[Prances around the room with a happy dance] Such a hooking first chapter indeed! Love that we get snippets of information, but nothing whole, and the final segment makes me excited to read about "the before" and any of "the after" to that July day. Dumbledore's interaction with Snape reflected the characters so very well, and I wonder if we'll learn more about Vector's seeming friendship with Snape. The title, specifically, excites me: I love theories of and ideas about memory. I look forward to reading further!

Wheeeeeeeeee!!! I am so happy to see your new story begin posting, and it looks to be a real humdinger. And already I have questions:•Was there something more between Snape and Vector than just being colleagues? I wondered about that when Severus responded to Dumbledore's reminder of the pledge he had made to the Headmaster- 'What about my life's happiness, you old bastard?'•What did the Headmaster see when he looked into Severus' mind? ‘You see, Severus?’ •Since Hermione and Severus are now married, does this mean she will go back to Hogwarts with him... but not be able to (officially) finish her NEWTS?•How will Hermione's book, Transcendent Quality of Remembrance, figure into this coming battle that isn't a battle?•Delores Umbridge. The thought of this shrew being in charge of Hogwarts makes me sick.Thank you for this new Subversa-treat!!! It promises to be quite an adventure.Beth
