Although on different sides of the war, Severus and Hermione work together, each for their own reasons. This is my take on the events following HBP and will lead up to the Dark Lord's demise.

I like how character-wise Narcissa and the Dark Lord are more fleshed out than most SS/HG fics. Glad to hear the next few chapters are mostly written already.

Snape keeps telling Hermione she could never be the kind of woman he would want. Is he trying to convince her or himself, or is he just being mean? How is Hermione going to defend herself being tied to the bed if Lestrange decides he wants a piece when Snape is away? And . . . don't bother to transfigure her any undergarments! . . . you wicked author. Please update soon.

I think he's actually trying to put her at ease. LOL But he can't exactly do it in a sweet way: he's Snape! Also, he's just trying to voice it outloud because he doesn't want her to think she has anything over him, but we both know that she does affect him indeed! Oh, Rabastan will be with Snape (going to see the Dark Lord), so she's safe from him for now. It'll just be Bella, Narcissa, and Draco left there while she's bound by one hand. We will get to see what they say to her in the next chapter. I'll have it up soon. Thank you very much for reading and reviewing. I do appreciate that. :)Bwahahhahaah... no knickers = easy access. Pity Narcissa thwarted that.

Love this chapter, my favorite so far.
As bad as I feel for Ron, I am still thrilled that Hermione and Severus are finding their way to each other.
Finally some real heat between Hermione and Severus.
It seems like under different circumstances Snape could be a very romantic man..
I think that there was quite a lot of closure to the story, Ron and Hermione's, even Molly was ginve closure of her hopes, and Severus was allowed to know that she'd thought about hima nd them long enough for him to be sure. Nice ending to a fantastic story.
Damn! I wish she hadn't put out to Weasley...
Make what right? Ooh mysteries abound...And Severus pretending Hermione's not her type- he will so eat crow. Can't wait for the next one

Thanks! I'm hoping both of these Malfoys are "redeemable" to us (or will be soon). Snape is so slick. Bwahahaha.Teehee... Good ol' robes n underpants. I do use the frock coat for special occasions. :)
For the love of Merlin!! That boy will never become the man he is meant to be if he contunes down this path of prejudice and blind hatred. Oh ho ho! So the plot thickens! I think its time to stir it up a bit! Ron surprised me here, but it was a good one! I enjoyed him. I can't wait for the Dark Lord's reaction to this, and to see what Bella and Cissy have to say about it. I wonder if Cissy is relieved or... Great job, now I'm ready for the next!

I'm trying to make Ron likable. About Cissy, I think she's relieved and stung at the same time. And to be honest, she remembered her encounter with Snape (how rough he was and cold), and she feels no woman should really go through that... even a Mudblood. But she won't risk his wrath to say so. Bella's gonna be Bella of course. Snerk
Wow, people's reactions to Hermione being taken isn't what I was expecting...But I love that Hermione and Severus will be interacting on a daily basis now!

LOL! Yeah, Harry's either. He's like "What the hell?" I suppose I should have had more worry about it, but I was trying to convey the "Severus will come through" theory. I'll try to work in some things to show that they truly are concerned as well, just being hopeful.
