At least Snape asked Hermione! Be it simply wanting an itch scratched, too much to drink, being grateful for her helping Rabastan or even maybe starting to actually like the Know-It-All, he did ask and then kept to what he wanted and her set limitations. Good man, that Snape.

Yep, that's something I hoped people noticed (that he did ask and didn't do any more than what she'd agreed to). If she'd turned over and said, "Sod off," he would have let her be, though he'd have been disappointed. LOLFor the other one, since it's in dialogue, not the narrative, I'll leave it. People don't always speak correctly, especially when being emotional.
Incredably hot chappie SW. Merlin you had me drooling, OK off for a ice bath.........

So Harry's learning more about Snape (and learning to think and understand), while Snape and Hermione have passed a definite turning point in their relationship... intriguing!
Heh. I wonder, if Ron found out (or saw even the staged memories), he and Harry might not have to stage another fight! Although I have to wonder if he's not on the way to realising that he may well have lost Hermione already.

You got it (about hg/ ss and hp).Ron has a big part coming up. Things will have to go south for a bit, ya know? lol Hope you enjoy that. And at this point, he's hating what he thinks is going on (her being forced into sex, etc.), but when he... Well, I can't say or it'll ruin it. But you get the idea. :)

Oh good God! I guess things are heating up :) Been hoping this story would update soon and although I guess we didn't learn a whole lot from this one, the bit of a Snape/Hermione turning point was very interesting - drinkin', it always gets you into trouble! :) I knew there was a reason I liked these NC-17 fics (blush) I think Snape's blantant use of the umm, more colorful vocabulary really drove home the point of that particular moment - not love, and I wouldn't even say lust specifically for each other, but lust all the same, or maybe just primal urges :) tomato, tomato - hmmm guess that doesn't work in typing :)Anyway, excellent writing as usual! Looking forward to what comes next.

Yep, I was just hoping to show that they are developing feelings for each other (and hopefully showing that he's kind of treating her the way he did Lily, which means he's falling for her -- just doesn't know it).Liquor = look out, baby! And here I thought that I've read everything there is to SS/HG sex in fandom. But Southern still surprises and gives us a hot, albeit forced, scene where the only intimacy those two actually shared was a kiss. Marvelous.

Excellent! I hope we will also see more of Malfoys' submission to Weasleys. It must be so hard for them to bow their heads with all the pureblood nonsense filling their brain cavities. Although, some time on a filthy floor for their devoted servise to The Lord might give one a bit of a perspective.
Wicked chapter. I can't decide if Snape set that whole Rabastan confrontation up with his friend to make Hermione more pliable in accepting physical favors as a means of protection or if Snape is genuinely protecting her. You really have me going back and forth as to what to think. Great chapter.

I liked it, but the hypocritical Malfoys make me want to hurl, and Snape's placating Rabastan makes me with he'd removed said Death Eater's 'bits' instead, while he had him in a Levicorpus.
Oh, well. Good chapter, but now I'm depressed. *SIGH*

Uhhuh. Molly had the right of it when she said she knew if things were in reverse they'd not do the same. They are lucky the Weasleys are so kind. Rabastan's not a nice guy at all, and Snape does have to keep up the pretense. Truth be told, he's still peeved at Hermione for the Malfoy stunt, though she doesn't "know" it. Things will be fixed up soon. :) Thank you for reading.
