This story is nothing short of a masterpiece. I began reading it and for the rest of the day, my house did not get cleaned, my kids watched far too many movies, and we ate cereal for dinner. I am completely bowled over by the depth of insight into these characters, the utterly plausible development of their love for each other, and how true to the characters you kept. To be blunt this is simply the best piece of fanfiction (in ANY universe) that I have ever read. Salud. I especially liked, in this chapter, your decription of her labor and the birth of Augusta. I've had 2 children myself and witnessed many other births, and you managed to make the birth REAL, not just that she moans twice and out pops a clean, smiling baby. Right down to the peeing..the first thing my son did after his birth was to pee on the doctor. The beautiful intimacy and emotion of Severus being her birth partner and helping her through the birth really illustrated how far he had come as a man and as a lover in your story. In the rest of the chapters, you managed to write both a toitally engrossing plotline as well as incredibly erotic scenes, and what made it all the more amazing was the fact that the sex was not only central to the development of the characters, but also to the story arc itself. Rarely can erotica that hot also be part of a good STORY, but you did it in spades. I know you wrote this ages ago and have received thousands of comments, but I could not read it without commenting. Well done doesnt even begin to cover it. So, just..thank you.

Hermione is brilliant, shooting Bellatrix!  And, Severus as well, walking his careful balance between subsurvience and mastery.  Thank you so much for updating.  I'd been checking for a while to see if you had, but you finally did, and wonderfully so.  It'll be very interesting to see what happens back at the Manor when they arrive....  And, of course, now the plan to lure Harry will go awry.  Thank you!

You know it's very rare that I read a fic over 30 chapters, because they usually meander all over the place and I lose my interest.  But this was a very enjoyable read, and I appreciate all your hard work - thank you for sharing it.

I must admit I am quite impressed. I honestly did not believe something new could come of the MLC but you seem to have done it. I particularly enjoyed MM's reaction.

A beautiful and well-drawn description of the powerful transcendental nature of their relationship.  If only we all could have such an opportunity to love like that, lets just hope its not all about the magic.

You know, if there was a scowling smiley face furiously clicking refresh every five minutes, I wouldn't have to type a thing.  Alas.

What a birthday that was.  You certainly didn't disappoint, and neither did the Professor!It's been so emotional, watching them fall in love, and this chapter was the perfect culmination of the reality of it, even if he never is cognizant enough to admit it aloud.

I hope it was either A) a fertility potion - he wants her to get pregnant so she'll have his child to remember him by if he bites it or B) an antidote to whatever poison he's going to give her under Voldemort's orders.Of course, there is C)I have no freaking clue. LOL.

Oh, Snape's going to have a canary with her latest idea, though I rather like it.Her abilities with wandless magic are going to come into play before the end,  I know it!  She's such a powerful witch, and I think more and more she's an excellent match for her husband.Like where you're going with this!

I have no idea how this story keeps getting better and better, but it does.My favorite line was, 'And without realising the words had formulated, he heard a desperate voice in his mind, Please need me. Need me like I need you….'I nearly cried at that - idk, it just really touched me.Liking Harry here, how he's loyal and concerned about her.  I was kind of missing that.A very good ending, too.  This whole story is just - WOW!!!

I know I already left a review, but I was rereading this chapter over lunch and found myself contemplating possibilities.If Severus has revealed something while talking in his sleep that allows Bella to locate Hermione and Lucius has figured out that there is an unbreakable soul bond in place, why not let Bella kill Hermione?  Severus dies at the same time and Lucius regains his right-hand man status.  Lucius could say "Oops, Bella killed the mudblood before I arrived, but here's Bella's corpse."  After all, Bella has just doomed herself anyway by disobeying a direct order from His Nibs.  Lucius would certainly be punished by the Dark Lord, but probably wouldn't end up dead under the circumstances.  What would be the point of making an example of him when Lucius is bound by oath to Voldy and wasn't bound to the late lamented Severus Snape.  Unless the Dark Lord has another child, the situation would be unlikely to arise again.A quandry.  Which will probably not be resolved until you post another chapter or two.  No pressure.  I'll just worry and wait.  ;-D
