Splendid.  I've been avoiding reading this for the completely illogical reason that I don't enjoy musicals (or opera *ducks missiles from friend in Royal Opera chorus*) and now I've caught up I am kicking myself hard.  Wonderful story, with a very realistic look at what it is really like to conduct a clandestine relationship, fascinating theatrical detail and I especially love the picture of the cast members gradually coming around with respect to Snape.  I hope that RL lets you keep updating, as this is a classic in the making.Brava!

I've been following for awhile but tend to stay as a lurker with these things...however, I had to come back and re-read this chapter after seeing Phantom for the first time tonight (front row centre, yes I do love saying that) all because of you and this wonderful story...which I now know was a bad idea as I'll get no sleep tonight as I'll be re-reading. I just wanted to say thank you for kickstarting my own obsession and leading me to the best night out I'll probably ever have, especially after taking a friend who didn't know the story after reading some comments related to such things awhile back.It's hard to say what I'm more excited about now...updates or the thought of seeing it again. :p

AIEEEEEEE!! oh! this is exciting! i thought Hermione was gonna drown and Severus was gonna save her. i can't help but think something bad is going to happen moments before it is all revealed. >_< i suppose nothing is worse than a student/teacher affair, but suspense!  as always, i can't wait for the next installment.

Holy Crap.  I nearly passed out when I noticed that this updated again!  My husband even realized that it was a big deal when I squealed and said "Oh My God, PoH updated!" and he said "Oh you mean that story that updates like every couple of months?"  It was awesome that he knew how much of a big deal it was.  So anyways about this wonderful ahead of schedule chappie.  It Rox!  It was totally a shame that I read it while at work and not right before I got to see my honey, but still very very awesome!  I loved how you put everything together but I want him to give her the ring!!! 2 chapters over the course of a weekend.....I may in fact suffer shock and not be able to believe it, until I reread the chapters again.  I loved Snape arguing with himself about whether to go see Hermione or not.  It's like he's regressed to the teenager/early twenties age since getting together with Hermione.  He never really got to experience that when he went through it the first time did he? Great job, looking forward the next chapter when you have the time to get it written.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!  ANOTHER CHAPTER!!  WOW!!Deliciously lemmony and quite humorous that it was in chapter 69. Did you plan that? LOL.  I'm so glad Snape was excited for Hermione, and also that he's giving her advise on the negotiations.  I am so jealous.  You are such a talented writer.  I love how drawn in I get to this story.  My husband sure doesn't though.  He had to call my name six times apparently before I answered.  I will cry when you finish this fic, but at the same time I cannot wait to know the ending.  Thanks for the quick update.  Looking forward to the next.  Really looking forward to the proposal.  I have a guess about what I think Snape's plan is...and I can't wait to see if I'm right.

Whoa!  Two chapters in less than a week.  Now I'm spoiled for sure.Seriously, this chapter was one I've been waiting to read for so long.  Deliciously hawt, and dripping with love and tenderness.I hope that Minerva doesn't go all ballistic when Hermione and Severus announce their intentions to marry.  Maybe she won't be too surprised in the end, after all everyone can surely see that they are cut from the same cloth.  And Albus would have surely known that eventually they might form a relationship closer than professor and student because they are interested in the same things.This was a wonderful chapter!  Thank you for posting so quickly.  And good luck with your exam.  Beth

haha, i'm still giggling about the chapter number and its contents. :D I did die of shock seeing a new chapter up, it was an awesome surprise!

OMG! I didn't have to wait almost 8million years...ok it just seems like 8 million years. Once again my dear you did a wonderful job, I will be sad to see this one end. Try not to miss too many classes exams are almost starting are they not?

Waoh, we are spoiled, two great chapters in few times.Very very good chapter, it seems that it announces a new  turning point. I'm eager to see if Hermione will take the position in the ministry or not.I profit by this review to repeat that your are a very good author.I'm reading once again your story and I'm always amaze how Snape's behaviour evolved all through it, how he became more open and confident, how his interaction with others people (like Harry, Ron, Mac Gonagal, Ginny;;; and Hermione of course) slowly but surely improves. This progression is one of the better part for me, contrary to more of the stories, you take your times to develope it.Great job.
