Fred's girlfriend Lydia goes to Fred’s the funeral to lay flowers on his grave and breaks down crying. After the funeral, she tells George that she's pregnant with Fred's baby, and he accidently announces her pregnancy to the entire family. However, George decides at Fred’s wake that he’d like to raise his brother's child. How can he convince her to marry him? Does she? What do the others think?

Great start! I love seeing George put his foot in it like that. Poor Lydia.
If I might offer one small thought - the other Care of Magical Creatures professor is Grubbly-Plank, not Gobbly-Plank. Just a what-for.

I wonder how much Lydia loved Fred compared to George. Did she always know it was Fred she loved, or did taht just happen to come about?I hope that if George eventually convinces Lydia to marry him that she feels something for him. Obviously, both Fred and George had liked her even though she chose Fred.
