A last minute rescue from marrying the wrong man out of a sense of obligation!  True love is redeemed for both couples!  Severus can stop getting Neville drunk!  They can come back in a year and a day to get permanently married.A romantic ending to a delightful romantic romp!  Thank you.

Loved the story!  I know Hermione and Severus will be back at the smithy in a year and a day to recast her ring!  I'm glad Hannah turned up in time.

I loved it!  A sweet little thing compared to some of your other works which I also adore.  (I'm glad you gave that little synopsis of the movie, as I've flirted with the idea of renting it for a while and I probably would not like it at all.)  All I ever knew about Gretna Green I've learned from fiction and television.  Now I'll have to do some independent research, as you have piqued my interest in the place.  Nice portayal of all the characters, and a good job of making the bastard git into a tolerable person.  I found myself wondering through chapters 5 and 6 if Hermione wasn't out of character with her stupidity, but I really think it was well-done after all, thinking of the combinations of hurt feelings and alcohol and stubborn pride and promises and sacrificially helping someone else out...yes, it worked well.

Yay! I am glad that both Neville and Hermione were happy with the ending of their wedding. Though I definitely wanted Hermione to go with Severus, I hoped that Neville wouldn't be too disappointed.I liked how you created a wizarding tradition with the muggle one. Especially since the wizarding one is still active and only appears for people who should get married.
