It's a lovely story. Hermione being so vulnerable and depressed was refreshing, and seeing Severus turn into a lovesick boy is rare in most stories. I also think that you're completely right about cutters and other self-mutilators. Overall, fantastic story.

I hope your going to write another epic like this (Naughty me asking to much? Beautiful ending.  I'm tearing up here.  I'm sad to see this story end.  Even though there were some ugly parts with his actions and Hermione's torture to herself, this has been one of my favorite stories in the challenge.  Take a bow, Livvy, great job!

Severus' journey from off-putting and surly spy to determined yet tender lover was a joy to behold.  He well and truly gave everything he had to repair the damage he had done to Hermione and became a fool for the love of this witch just as he had promised her he would.

I just can‘t believe how much of an idiot Snape is in this story. I might have accepted his initial insults with the explanation you gave for it, but sadly, you made it all go downhill from there. He should have told her why he acted this way, and she would have understood, after all, she’s supposed to be intelligent. So is he, but you made him leave a distraught, volatile, hurt and desperate girl who is prone to self-mutilation alone without anyone to watch out for her in a traumatic situation. Sorry, that’s unredeemable, incredibly stupid behaviour and simply not the Snape I like to read about.  

if this is the second to last chapter, why does it say that it is finished in the story list??? cause i would have not started it till you were done, i hate cliffies!!!! really though i love the story, it is a unique start and i like how yours is not all sunshine and roses, but real-er.  if u know what i mean.  can't wait for the last chappie, thank you for writing!!!!! the story is very good i couldn't stp reading but i have a question, at th bottom of the chapter listings it says the story is completed but u say there is a chapter still 2 come, so wht is going on?

That proposal had me smiling so much! My husband proposed to me while we were in the middle of an argument so when I read about really grand gestured proposals I kind of wonder what that would have felt like. OMG, this chapter was so great and cute and dare I say fluffy! This was just what the Doctor ordered seriously. I was so giddy when they were dress shopping and how he asked her to the ball in front of everyone...well that was just perfect! I can't wait to read what's next!
