That was terrific! I particularly liked the last line...in fact, I loved the whole section after Hermione's departure. It was quite unexpected--for a while you had convinced that Hermione and Draco would end up together. Although I like the fact that she didn't even countenance the idea of taking him away from his family, that seems very in-character. Severus' commentary was great too, and it was interesting to watch him getting to know Hermione so much better (albeit through rather unorthodox methods :D) Anyway, great job! Naturally I'd like to read more, but I have to admit this works well as a stand-alone piece. Oh well, I'm off to check out your other stuff!
