OOH, that was rough.  But also kind of nice.  I'm glad on both of their parts that they are taking things slowly.  I know he would never force himself on her, but I was afraid that she would be drunk enough to give in and he would go along with it and then there would be major regrets in the moring.  They still have some work to do, but things seem to be downhill from here.  At least for now...

Rarely do I ever get so emotional over a story but yours was one of the few to elicit such feelings. This story was so perfect and I'm sad to have reached the end although I did read voraciously up to this point, dedicating all of my free time to reading this. This was a brilliant story and I enjoyed every word of it.

Justice served!  I'm sure Severus had a dire punishment in mind, but reason won over his emotions.  Sirius deserves much more than house arrest, but anything more would lead to a loss of confidence for Harry I think.Poor Hermione.  Her reaction to her husband is understandable, but no less heartbreaking.  I hope she snaps out of it soon.What an awesome, powerful chapter, Livvy, filled with anguish and bravery.

I missed the story, I yust restarting to read. Lily and the marauders are very low on my list. They are very sneaky indeed.

Too bad he scared her.  He was being pretty good up until that point.  I can see his point, but she needs time to heal.  Loved what he did to Sirius, but I think that it would have been even better had he done what Charlie suggested.  Too bad Harry can never know what a slimeball Sirius is.I hope Hermione can heal soon.

I understand Severus reaction but he should be a bit more pacient with her.I want to know what's going to happen!! Poor Severus and Hermione.  They love each other so much and right now she is terrified of anyone coming to close to her.  I know that they can get through this together.  It just will take time and unfortunatly time is not on their side.  I really like how you have managed to incorporate the books in with your story.  (I probably have said it before.)

Oh no, they were finally almost happy!I have to agree with many reviewers: the Muggle world has  (far too much) experience with such situations, and both Severus and Hermione know about this.  They are, of course, strongly entangled in too many events to arrange lengthy therapy, but something can be done from a book, I hope.  Don't let Sirius win here! An excellently built-up chapter, though.

Oh, dear!  I am glad that Hermione decided to get things out in the open by revealing herself as the victim, and that they all responded the way they did.  How difficult it will be for Hermione to not only have to hear Harry bash Snape, but also praise Sirius.  I think our girl is made of pretty strong stuff but one can only take so much.  I find myself feeling sympathy for so many people.  Sirius for one, even though he commited such a deplorable act, he really isn't right in the head and it is due to things that have always been out of his control.  Dumbledore is another.  I think that  he has some faults such as using people however he has to for "the greater good", but I have always wondered how he could shoulder so much responsibility without breaking.  And then there is Severus and Herione.  She is having what I can only assume is a normal reaction after what Sirius tried to pull with her.  Still, it obviouly is causing a rift between the two.  You can't blame Severus for being angry with her.  It is unfair that he has to suffer for something that he didn't do.  It almost seems a victory for Sirius.  She doesn't mean to push him away, and he doesn't intent to bully her into staying, but that is inevitably is happening.  I so hope that they talk it out.  They really need each other right now.

This was an amazingly charged chapter.  I hate that Sirius has taken away the easy intimacy that Severus and Hermione had shared.  I think he probably deserved more punishment than he got from Severus, but for now it will have to do.Harry is having a terrible time trying to learn Occlumency from Severus, but he can't seem to discipline his emotions enough to concentrate.  I assume this will have dire consequence down the road.  I hope that Hermine will be able to over come the fears that have settled on her since Srirus attacked her... Severus is paying the price for the mutt's offenses.  It just isn't fair, but the results of this kind of behavior rarely are.Very tightly wound chapter, m'dear!Beth
