I say "rapist" because that was his intent, and I did leave it ambiguous since she is only fourteen and the rules of this site are clear on no explicit details of sexual acts of those under the age of consent. So I made it purposefully vague. When I originally wrote it, I had it that he had placed a finger inside her and that was why he knew she was a virgin. That itself is rape. He didn't break her hymen, but it was still forcible penetration. When Severus cursed him, he was about to "do the deed", as it were. So that is the back story on that.Hermione is still intact after this assault and will remain for quite some time. The first chapter had Severus asking Hermione outside the disco if she were still "intact," and she had said yes. So, we know that Hermione was still a virgin in September of 1981.I hope if anyone who reads this review isn't offended by it.
