This was written in response to debjunk’s request during the Potter Place Saturday Night Drabbles chat.

Severus smirked smugly. “Wait until Hermione sees me. I’ll not have a single bloody spot! Run its course, my arse. I’ve treated Dragon Pox… I damn well know I can treat something such as Chicken Pox!”

He tipped the small bottle of Calamine lotion he’d procured from a Muggle store, adding half of it to the potion in his trusty cauldron. He stirred the pink, pasty liquid eight times anti-clockwise and then sighed in accomplishment before scooping some out to apply to his body.

When Hermione returned later, she tried very hard to suppress laughter. “Severus, why are you pink?”
