Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

LOL I'm so glad yoou enjoyed it. Yes, Severus is better. I love Severus being innocent and showing that. The man Severus is very inexperienced in matters of the heart. He may be a powerful brilliant wozard but still very innocent in some ways.Thank you for your review.

After hearing the rave reviews from other authors on Potter's Place I had to read this. I have just read the first twelve chapter and have marked it as a favorite. This is wonderfully written and I will look forward to the updates. I love the interaction between Severus and Hermione. I do agree that our beloved Potion's Master needed to be loved but I agree with everyone in your story that he didn't need to be a puppet once again. Please update soon.

Thank you, I'm so glad you jumped in. I was very surprised to see it recommended on Potter Place. No he didn't need to be a puppet again but then we wouldn't have a story here :)I love seeing Severus receiving love and learning her can be loved and is worthy of being loved.Thank you so much for letting me know what you think.A new Chapetr is in the queue.

I hope that Draco can use this house arrest for Scorpius as time to reallly sit and have some heart-to-heart talks with his son...perhaps if Scorpius knew that Severus did so much to keep his father alive and safe (so that he could be born in the first place), he might start to lighten up a bit...I can hope!Maybe Poppy's suggestion about talking things out with Hermione will bear fruit. And sex can be a good way for someone who is normally so buttoned-up about his feelings to let go a little; Severus may be able to say things in the afterglow that would be difficult for him to say in the cold hard light of day... So it's a good thing that certain bits of him are apparently starting to work!

aww, poor severus. It's not right he should suffer more. But as far as the spell, maybe there was no other way to save him from himself. That Scorpius is a mess. I think perhaps his grandfather should only have supervised visits.

Yes poor Severus I sure torture the poor guy. But things will get better eventually. Scorpius is a mess and needs halp. I don't think Scorpius will be seeing much of Lucius soon.

Kisses, kisses, and kisses galore. I know that Severus would not have traded these last few months with Hermione. Coming to know each other, and to share their feelings heart-to-heart have made Severus happier than he has ever been. I feel sorry for Scorpius and Draco. How will the boy come to understand how awful his behavior was. I'm sure Draco is ashamed enough of his son's behavior, but Scorpius will need to come to terms with this hatred for all things Severus if he hopes to be a successful student and adult wizard. Perhaps it is his grandfather, Lucius Malfoy, who needs a change of heart to make the biggest difference.Thank you for this lovely update, Jeannie.Beth

Yes, kisses are nice aren't they. I seldom get one and they are missed. Severus is happier than hes been in yeras but also poor guy is going through a lot. I think he knows now that even though this was not right for Albus D to do to him he's okay now with the results.Scorpius will be dealt with aa will his Grandfather. they both have some rough times ahead but are a very important part of this story in the future.Thank you Beth as always for your very thoughtful comments.

Babies! Little Snape babies! Sounds like a good idea to me. I think Hermione and Severus may be laying the foundation for a wonderful little family.I worry about what Scorpius is planning. It sounds like he has something horrid in mind for Hermione to get back at Severus and get rid of her, too. It's a good thing that the spell that was placed on Severus hasn't interferred with his ability to sense Legilimancy. He will be able to protect his witch and perhaps even help Scorpius see that perhaps the picture he was given of Severus by his father and grandfather is not exactly the way things happened.Great chapter!Beth

Yes Scorpius is planning something and it happens in the next chapter or is it the next LOL. His plan will change a lot of things. And Severus will have to figure out how he's going to deal with the bratt and his grandfather. They do feature a lot in future chapters.Babies...arn't they always in the future for most people who love eachother. This has been fun to write. I write things for myself and hapy endings are my thing. I live in a fairy tail world where everythig should be happy.Thanks Beth.Jeannie

Thank you, Yes Scorpius has been mislead by a very angry, sad, destroyed grandfather. His fathers a little more responsible here but doesnt feater a whole lot in this story.
ITA, something is up with Scorpius - or he knows something and isn't letting on. Hmm...I detect a little paternal clock ticking very faintly in the background somewhere. It's not just Hermione, though I'm fairly suprised Severus' answer to her question did not throw her for a loop - sounds like he's not totally adverse to the idea of the two of them having children in the future!

Yep somthing is up with him. He's a very angry mislead boy who loves a very messed up grandfather. I think that was the first time Severus realised children might be in his future and I think at that time hw wasn't ready to commit. A lot more has to occure between them.But I think your right he's not totally advers to them :)Thanks for your comments and the review

I think you like this story the best of anyone. I'm so glad, I hope it will continue to entertain you. I think it has some weak chapters that I will hopefully improve as I prepare them for the beta. This story is near completion but will take a good year to post. It's sometime frustrating how slow the process is, but then I realize the TPP ladies see hundreds of chapters a month probably.
