Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

Oooh, this is really good! I can't wait to learn how Severus ended up in this situation while everyone believed him to be long dead. Is he trapped between life and death, or caught in some kind of invisible stasis of a sort? I am so hooked!

Lol so she throws a paddy like a child lol I can see severus getting brassed off with that.
I love the fact he has a mother type figure. And Hermione really should stop blaming things on insects lol! First bee's then flies.
Seems like he is starting to like her. I wonder maybe they are soul mates.
Nice to see he still has some snark lol. Seems he is connected to her. I wonder why she felt such love for him when she barely knew him.
Lovely first chapter and very intriguing. I wonder if he is connected to his wand or Hermione herself.

I really like the interaction between Hermione and Snape, very realistic. And Poppy is so sweet, it's nice that you made a history between her and Snape.

Well thank you, I consider this section the weakest part of this story I'm glad you like it. I hope it continues to keep you interested.
Annnnd here's another problem for Hermione and Severus to solve. <grin> I can understand how someone would not notice changes if they see someone every day. My sisters commented on our mother's changes this last two weeks while we were in CA. They hadn't seen her in two years and I live with her. ^_^

Yeah got to keep those problems coming for a bit. This story kind of took on its own life. It was never intended to go far past the bubble but it just kept growing. I hope you will enjoy whats coming up. Yeah I can understand that I lived with my mom till she passed. I always thought she looked pretty good even when she was ill. For a woman of 81, she still had half her hair black (salt and Pepper).
An interesting turn of events.

Excellent. A beautiful chapter. I really liked the conversation between Harry and Severus, it is very nice to see them acting as adults. This story has been excellent, the thought and emotion in each of the chapters brings it all to life. Thank you. I look forward to the next chapter.

Thank goodness Severus was there to see Arthur's and Molly's problem before it actually caused their premature death and alert someone to it in time.

Yeah I think so. After reconnecting with a group of young men recently that I ran around with back in the 80's I can tell you it was a shock. the weights the gray hair the no hair. LOL. But I can tell you its was wonderful to reconnect and to know they thought of me too.
I enjoyed reading this story. I thought I would never forgive JK for killing Severus and leaving to rot in the shreiking shack, but if Severus can find healing in forgiveness perhaps I should consider it as well! The only thing that bothered me throughout the story was Hermione's title. It was always Madam Granger or Madam Snape instead of professor. She did the work and deserves the title, darn it. Severus being constantly referred to as professior when he was no longer teaching while Hermione was almost always madam even by her colleagues struck me as wrong every time. Other than that, it was a pleasure to see Severus in love :-)

Yes, it would be. I enjoy the relationship that Poppy has with severus too. Thsoe scenes kind of write themselves and I enjoy re-reading them as much as anyone.It would be ncie to think Severus had that support during his life dispite his mistakes.Jeannie
