They actually seem to fall right into an easy friendship without much effort. Perhaps they should just remain friends. The sad part is that it might actually work if they had the same life goals, but, it is unfair for either of them to have to compromise. Dinner with the parents and the news of her dream job coming up ... gulp.

Well Herms is happy and all appears well but it feels like the pretty flower you go to sniff only to discover a bug. Looking forward to more.

Hermione really can't say, that she hasn't been warned, Severus told her Theo would not be willing to stay in one place for long. It may not seem to be that big a deal, but it is, if Theo stays for Hermione, he will feel traped, if Hermione gives up the job to travel with Theo, she will be resentful. My grandmother said " You can't make someone else happy, by making yourself miserable " we all like to be around happy people. Will they be happy together? we will have wait and see, won't we.

It's nice to see Hermione looking for ways to make this relationship work. Much better than resigning herself to a fate worse than death.Love the counterpoint Ginny and Harry play to Hermione's situation, allowing her to reaffirm to herself that she's doing the right thing. Much like how Parvarti & Seamus's relationship influenced Padma's decision to go through with the Ministry's plans. Well done!Looking forward to the next chapter!

I felt it was overwritten, and wanted to lighted it a bit. But even when I've felt that a chapter really needs a rewrite, I've resisted temptation, so it will be largely unchanged. LB x

Their first date went well, her meeting with Harry & Ginny was full of good news on both sides. I think that the 0wl from the Ministry will be the fly in the ointment. Great chapter looking forward to more soon.

Although I know what is coming, I am still sort of glad that she is excited about Theo. I can't help but think that it is better than going into a marriage with someone you can't stand. Snape does make some very good points, and I don't think you have to be too intimately acquainted with Hermione to know that she would be unhappy with Theo's preferred lifestyle. But honestly, what other choice does she have?I look forward to more soon. I will say that I am not typically a fan of OCs, but you have one in this story that has been a favorite of mine since I met him. Actually, so many good moments to come, I am getting all laughy, and squealy, and tingly just thinking about them all. Have I mentioned that I am so glad you are back? *does a dork dance*

It's settled then. Hermione will become Hermione Nott... but I'm afraid she will become Nott happy as well. But really... what other choice did she have? I think this is one of those damned if you do and damned if you don't times. At least she is "that much" closer to meeing Lance, and that's a reason to smile.Well done, m'dear!!Beth

Hmmmm... very interesting... Severus's reasonings as to why Theo and Hermione aren't a good match. His justification sounded really good to me -- they don't sound like they'll be a good match. I imagine Hermione would be *miserable* living as a wanderer, and Theo probably won't even realise he's making her miserable - and won't be capable of modifying his behaviour to accommodate his wife. Yikes.

What is Hermione letting her self in for. I like that Severus tried to tell her about Theo, but we all have to do what we think is best for us no matter what other people think. I know Hermione likes Theo but I think she should haved listened a little more to Severus

Hmmm, I'm betting on Theo being gay. Am very curious to see how this all turns out as it's labeled "Potions Under Distress" & Snape is married and Hermione is supposed to be in a few weeks. I sense carnage and confusion and fun ahead! Eager for the next chappie!!!
