sdragon19 (Sabrina, age 25) passed away suddenly on November 24, 2006 from kidney failure due to an infection.

She was an accredited beta with Perfect Imagination. Her preferred pairings to beta were SS/HG and HP/GW, and her strengths were characterization and general flow. She was working with Southern_Witch_69 as her beta prior to her passing, and had begun two WIPs ... stories that will now never be finished. We at TPP mourn her passing, and we send our condolences to her family.

WOW!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!
Wow. I almost didn't read this story because I didn't want to read about Severus dying, but your story was definitely worth it. Your description was quite poetic and it seemed very much in character.
When authors write, they feel intensely the emotions that are put on the page, as though the story being written is being experienced by the one writing it. I wonder sometimes if death is something that a person foresees ... So many things a person does, so many words a person says (or writes), can be construed as a person's subconscious knowing that the end is near.
I found this story even more moving, knowing that less than a month after writing and posting this, the author herself had died ... As if she knew subconsciously that it was going to happen ....
