You have a great writing technique, with more than enough description and enough dialogue to make it so that we are not reading page-length texts of description of something which could be described in about 3 lines. One of my favourite stories!

I don't know who would want Gilderoy Lockhart to plan their wedding. I guess, maybe if you have a crush on him. I don't think Severus is going to want to attend that wedding. :P I liked how you made Ron absentminded when Hermione anounced her relationship with Severus. It made the event different from many others that have been told before. I too feel that Severus is a formal man and would like to give a proper proposal. The ring sounded nice and heirloomish. Anyway, excellent short story.

Its a perfect proposal. I just wish i were Hermione! and i must say i pitty poor Ronald "Flocks of pink doves!" and "Cupids with pink confetti!" i must say it sounds horrible!

I adore "self-absorbed Slytherin drama queen" Severus. The picture in my head just makes me giggle.  I also like the picture he and Lupin sitting in the pub laughing make. Just one of the perils of falling in love with much younger women. Of course Severus would do it properly at some point. Especially after learning of the family heirloom. You (and he) presented it so beautifully. My knees are jelly. ^.^

I've been reading the series all day, and I'm loving it!  I have to tell you, the whole Lockheart bit had me laughing until I was crying.  Thanks for such an excellent story!

Poor Ron, he was so overcome by his own wedding plans, or should that be wedding planner, that he missed his chance to make a prat of himself. So many gems artfully sprinkled throughout this chapter, far too many to list. Thank you so much.

I guess even the news of Hermione marrying Severus wasn't enough to wake Ron from the horror of his own wedding. I think I would have reacted to same way as Ron to hearing all that though.
