on RL!  I really hate Lucius right now!  He's a scummy muck.  Severus has some major work on his hands to help Hermione.

Very interesting that Draco searched them out.  First you make me think that Lucius is 'good' then now he's 'bad' again.  I think I'm gonna go to bed, sleep, then go to work, then come back and reread this chapter with a slightly fresher brain.  Right now it is to complex for me, sadly.  Since even while causing confusion, it is great.

I knew Lucius would help her.  It is the sort of assistance I think he would be glad to give.  :)

For the opportunity to learn, I think she would get into an even bigger mess.  I keep thinking that Ron isn't as "confused" as he seems to be claiming to be.  I don't think Lucius would object to assisting her in obtaining her blood.

But I suppose they needed for Lucius to get out of his protected house to do something to him... hmm.Say, the anointment he put on his forehead, it doesn't has expiry date, does it? Lol.

Very interesting that a seer saw Severus.  I think Ron is probably getting overly friendly with the French girl, and that's why he "had to stay."

when i first started reading it  i wasn't sure about this story but by the time i got to the second chapter i was trapped! i had to finish it! you are a gifted writer congrats on a good tale! i eagerly await the coming chapters and hope Lucius gets his in the end!

So Severus is letting Lily fade a bit into the background and is making a real effort with Hermione? He seems to be jealous. He certainly is possessive, but he does not have to love to feel that emotion. I think it was good Hermione was honest about her feelings for Ron, although her constant lack of desire for intimacy in her relationship with him was very telling that something was not right. You can love someone but not be in love with them. It seems the bond helps to bring Severus and Hermione closer, one of which is being able to feel the other's emotions.

Another brilliant chapter that goes just in the direction I like very much. Maybe, now that everything is out in the open, Ron can try to accept the situation and give his marriage a go, too. And I love Lucius' punishment!

Lucius have numbered days?  That seems like an abbreviated form of justice to me; much better to terrify and torture him intermittently and without warning over and over and over again.  jmho.  Giving him these nightmares is brilliant, really.

Great fic!  Sounds like Hermione and Severus could be having a twisted game of one-up-manship, seeing who could come up with the worst nightmare to give Lucius and making sure each one is worse than the last... 

that was fantastic! i was reading it on the bus and almost missed my stop! all in all, i think harry and ron - and for that matter, severus - all handled things better than i might have expected, all things considered. i liked the bit of sweetness between hermione and severus. i almost felt sorry for lucius in the midst of that dream - almost, until i remembered everything he had done to deserve it, the bastard. i hope they get draco away from him.

Hm... it gets twisty. Is it just a dream or is Lucius having a bit of foreshadowing?

I really am enjoying this story! I am glad that Hermione and Serverus are going to make a go of it! Ron did have a point about having more faith in him, but I think anyone would have thought the same, and it seems Ron and Hermione are not suited anyway,( why didn't JKR see this!) so Lucius sort of did them a favor! It would kill Lucious to know he did something right after all, and I think his punishment is spot on! Can'twait for the next installment!Grace

muahaha!!! so Lucius will somehow kill himself, and Severus, Hermione, and the others still keep their vow to not try to send Lucius to prison. maybe Lucius can kill Cissa too, since both parents were doping poor Draco. I'm glad Harry's visit went relatively calmly. thanks for the new chapter!!!

Wow! Another action packed chapter! I actually feel bad for Hermione and Ron while feeling happy for her and Snape at the same time. Although, I did notice that Severus never admitted anything while Hermione did admit how she felt. I feel really bad for Ron's wife too. And, I think Lucius is getting what he deserves! I hope they get Draco out.

Very nice chapter. I love how the story gets passed from one to another, along with the vow that stops anybody from doing anything about it.
