terrible mess indeed. She will never learn her lesson though, in the end her love of knowledge will always overcome her fear of the unknown I think.

Such long chapters, I am completely enthralled and its only chapter 2. I can't wait to find out what is in store for them.

Lovely, long chapter. Just one thing bugs me, the phrase "want I should". This grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard, and I have been seeing it a lot lately in many good stories. What bugs me the most about it is it brings beaver cleaver into the story because the old leave it to beaver show is the only time I have ever heard this phrase before now. It certainly doesn't make the content of your story any less fasciniating of course, and I realize it is my pet peeve not yours so I will keep reading because that is not enough of a reason for me to miss out on such a great story (as yours always are). Anyway finished ranting aimlessly. And on to the next chapter.

Sneaky Lucius, I am disappointed I kind of liked him nice. Oh well, I am glad snape is back, the black eyes thing was creepy though.

holy crap! i just read everything you have so far. this story is amazing. its so sad that hermione got tricked, but i'm really loving your snape so far. while the hglm was fun its nice to see him back in character. can't wait for more and to discover exactly what snape is being honest about. update soon! fantastic!

This is such a mind-teaser.  I wonder what Severus sawin the tome - does it perhaps show what Lucius wants itto?  I'm sure he's only out for power, and he and Narcissahave set up everything - but I don't know what Severus'srole is - he seems to be almost childlike in many ways,and emotionally immature.  It's quite fascinating, tryingto figure it all out.

Terrific chapter, but poor Hermione really doesn't knowwhat's going on.  Looks like Lucius has ideas of makingSeverus the new Dark Lord, and I'm sure he has workedthrough the tome somehow to get Ron out of the way.I wonder how much Severus knew before he died - andI even wonder if this is really Severus.

This was Snape as I like to think of him, and it's nice toknow that this Snape and the one being directed by thetome are not quite the same.   But I'm sure Lucius hasset all this up, and engineered Hermione being calledby the tome in some way, but for what purpose?  It'smore than Severus's friendship, I think.  And how muchdoes Draco know?  It seems that he is more afraid forHermione than afraid of her, which is a good thing - Ialways thought that post-HBP had more possibilities thanRowling allowed him.

I had my doubts about Lucius - just too much of a change in too little time.  But Severus is really chilling -I don't know whether it's because of whatever in-betweenplace he's in at this time, or whether he was already likethis in life, if he was stripped of all social veneer.  Greatstory - scary and intriguing.

This does give me a rather creepy feeling - the book is so dark, and I'm not sure how much resistance to the Dark Hermione will have.  I don't know that I'd entirely trust Lucius, although I have to admit he's very tempting.But if Severus comes back (and I'm sure he will), how will he feel if it's Lucius who's responsible for shedding Hermione's virgin blood?  So many ifs and buts and maybes ....

I cannot beleive Lucius would have cursed Draco like that! He was all over the place not wanting to life the curse till Harry proded him, then sort of fake worry. Or maybe I am too skeptical?Cannot wait to see who wins the fist fight between Harry & Ron. I am hoping for Harry myself.

Thanks for the unveiling of some information.  =)  All that about the dream stone was really interesting. I'm so curious as to whether Ron was responsible for his choice to go marry another woman or if Lucius had something to do with it. Can't wait for more…

Wow, Harry and ron Muggle duling. I'm glad Harry is standing up for ahermione in this, but I hope it is actually Ron' fault, and not that he is getting beat up after having a spell put on him too!!

Snape is sounding like he could or does care about Hermione's perception of him. I suppose that could be self serving in that he would want a peaceful household. I am still reserving my opinion until I hear the full story, since I was completely suckered in at the beginning.

Well, at least Ron was with another woman and not just a trick of photos to get to Hermione.

Dang, Ron's in the dog house and may not deserve to be there!  I loved Hermione regaining her thoughts back, she is more like her old 'know-it-all' self.
