I started out as a college student, like so many others in the fandom.  Now a graduate student, after a few years in the (theoretically) real world.

I'm particularly fond of Hermione, Minerva, and Severus.  I mostly read HG/SS, but I'm rather fond of MM/AD and will really read pretty much anything so long as it is well written and doesn't involve Sirius.  Oh, and I also love Severus-mentor-Harry type stories, though finding good ones can be a real challenge.  If I stand for anything in the fandom it's constructive criticism, which I very much appreciate.

I don't write fic much anymore, though I still read regularly.  The whole being a grown up with an intense job thing got in the way, and now being a graduate student.   I miss writing, but I also know that I'm not in a position to do it properly.  So I just read, at least for now.

/Lian.

Basics: Girl. 18. Likes chocolate, apples, and peanut butter. (Not necessarily in that order.)

Current Obsessions: The History Boys, Auden, Michelangelo, baggy sweatpants, XM radio, driving, God, Jensen Ackles

"I shall wear necklaces and a white dress without sleeves at night. There will be parties in brilliant rooms; and one man will single me out and will tell me what he has told no other person. He will find in me some quality, some peculiar thing. But I do not want to be fixed, to be pinioned. I tremble, I quiver, like the leaf in the hedge, as I sit dangling my feet, on the edge of the bed, with a new day to break open. I have fifty years, I have sixty years to spend. I have not yet broken into my hoard. This is the beginning." - Virginia Woolf, The Waves

I'm Emilie. I spend most of my time studying, buried in piles of books. It's not the most exciting life, but it's what i do. Other than that, I snowboard, read fanfic, attempt to write, and hang out with my man, Dave. He promises to dress up like Severus and give me detention, but i'm still waiting on that one. :(. Anyone know where I can get a snape costume? lol. Anyways, I like quick updates. I hate seafood.

I'm an avid reader, an OK singer, and a complete computer geek. Currently favorite authors are Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, Lori Foster, and Janet Evanovich, however I will read pretty much anything that catches my fancy. I don't read historical romances and can't stand "love your rapist" plots. I read the first 4 Harry Potter books in 3 days about 1 year before OotP came out. I was immediately taken in by the story and have read each subsequent book the day of release. I found fan fiction after publication of DH.

I wrote my first FanFic at age 7 about the Dukes of Hazzard. Let's just say I had no idea it was even called fan fiction and well; it was really, really bad. I'm not sure how much of that has changed in the past 29 or so years but I've decided to give it a shot.

Hi! I am the notorious Dezzy from Pg394. I read much more fic than I write, but I am trying to get back into the swing of things. If you enjoy reading my nonsenses, please leave a review and let me know what you think.

I mostly sail the good ship HG/SS but I venture into HP/DM, SS/SB sometimes too for a bit of variety.

I'm a Canadian university student who reads fanfics when she should be studying instead. I'm always looking for good Snape or Draco stories, so let me know if you come across any awesome (or lesser known) fics! My favourite pairings are HG/SS and HG/DM, although I also enjoy Severitus fics.

I'm currently writing a SS/BL fic called 'The Secret of Hydra,' in which Snape unwittingly searches for the daughter he doesn't know he has. It's being posted both here and at fanfiction.net. Currently on hiatus, but may be picked up again shortly (Aug/Sept 2012-ish).

I have no idea what to say here, so...

Lucius Malfoy stole my brain after DH and he won't give it back.  I write everything from darkfic to crack to drama, with an occasional side order of smut.  I view odd pairings as a challenge, and in my head some form of Lucius/Severus (whether they are just good friends or something more) is fanon.  IJ is probably the best place to keep up with what I'm currently writing, should you wish to do so.

I live somewhere in the USA, in a city that has hosted the Olympics.
