I never know what to put for these things...

I'm in my late twenties (as well as in denial about my impending thirties). I live and work in the middle of a city, and am of the firm opinion that life isn't quite as interesting anywhere else. I'm a political consultant, which can be sort of catch-all title. In my case, it means a combination of planning campaign strategies, doing the odd bit of damage control, and writing speeches and public statements. It's interesting work and I enjoy it a great deal. I also do some writing on my own, and hope someday to be a published novelist.

I've been reading fanfic since 1998, though I just started posting my own fic a year ago. My first fandom was the X-Files; my first ship, Mulder/Krycek. The list has since expanded to include Highlander, Buffy, Harry Potter, Good Omens, and many, many others. I will read almost anything provided that it is well-written and interesting. (This applies to books as well, and I'm almost always about halfway through three or four of them.)

This week, I'm listening to... The Clash -- London Calling

...and I'm reading: Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William L. Shirer; Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain (I'm on The Castle of Llyr) and The Queen's Gambit, by Walter Tevis. I highly recommend all of these.

Hey all! I really hope that you read my fan fiction, The Point of No Return, and I think that it will be good. I love to write and to Beta read for people (I'm PI accredited) and I love to read and watch anything Harry Potter.

I love to write! I'm usually a SS/HG shipper but will write DM/HG and any other random ships that momentarily pull into my weird harbor!
I work during the day (some of them seem to never end) only to chain myself to the computer until nearly dawn. You'd think I would decide when to stop editing, and re-editing and RE-RE-editing! Of course, without my awesome beta I would STILL miss the majority of my mistakes...*blushes*
One of these days I'll stop being so anal and just post the chapters! Look for me and give reviews, please!
**As of Jan. 13, 2006 (Friday the 13th, coincidence?) I stopped being anal and had my first chapter posted. Check it out!

P.S. I'm just playing with JKR's characters that are children of her original genius. This is all for fun; not for money. (Okay, enough with this seriousness! Let's banish it to the dungeons with Snape!)

Newcomer to the world of HP fanfic, but I think I found my new obsession! I plan to try writing some of my own when I get some plot ideas.

I like HG/SS fics, as well as Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange fics. If they're evil, I love them.

I have no idea what to say here, so...

Lucius Malfoy stole my brain after DH and he won't give it back.  I write everything from darkfic to crack to drama, with an occasional side order of smut.  I view odd pairings as a challenge, and in my head some form of Lucius/Severus (whether they are just good friends or something more) is fanon.  IJ is probably the best place to keep up with what I'm currently writing, should you wish to do so. 

I live somewhere in the USA, in a city that has hosted the Olympics.

I'm a 20 year old and I'm currently studying Linguistics at the University of Wales, Bangor.

I've been a fan of Harry Potter since about 1999, I read Prisoner of Azkaban when I was on holiday in Greece and I couldn't put it down!

I've been reading and writing fanfiction for years, but it's only recently that I've been sharing my fics with people other than my friends and I really appreciate feedback!

Hi! So, I'm BloodTraitor or Alex. :) I'm a female and I'm Russian-American. At the moment I live in America, PA. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, although, a couple of years back I didn't find the book or it's character great and interesting and truthfully - *whispers* thought it was a dumb book. I apologize for that. So, I'm 18 - my birthday is January 1st. I'm a very nice and friendly person and I can befriend anyone. Also, I'm quite new to fanfictions, so I might be really bad at writing at first (although my mind is going to explode at one time - it's so full of ideas). My favorite pairings in fanfictions include: Severus Snape/Hermione Granger; Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley; Albus Dumbledore/Minevra McGonagall; and sometimes (when I feel really pervy) Severus Snape/Sirius Black or Severus Snape/Remus Lupin.
