When I started this tale I thought it to be only a short tryst with these two fun characters.  However, now I am drawn into a more complex and intriguing full length story.  I would have been happy with the tryst, but am loving the entire affair.  I look forward to the rest of the courtship.  Thanks, JoAnne.

Neither of our protagonists is very comfortable in situations where the UST is so high.  But a few well placed words from either to the other, about being "sorry for any misunderstandings" could begin to set things to rights.

Ah, but "pride goeth before a fall," and they both have pride aplenty. 

Now if Miss Granger could only bring herself to ponder on the possibilities hinted at by the newer top note of rich green cypress that overlay the scent of roses... she might be able to see her way clear to civil discourse with Mister Snape.  And that could lead to lovlier... err... activity... err... LOVE & SEX.
