Actually, curling is mentioned (but not played) in Ladyofthemasque's In Annulo... I don't believe that I actually knew that!I like your story, too, though!

Thank you! I was working on this drabble and then there was a Savage Chickens cartoon about how a curling game ends when the captain catches the snitch and I felt like it was fate. :)

You called this an "odd duck" and I'd have to say I agree with that description, but I totally enjoyed it. A sweet and fun little jaunt outside the usual world. Love it. So happy when the random story button brings me gems like this!

Thank you for the review! I wrote this story for a competition, and I was really looking for something outside of the normal. It was during the Olympics, so there it was!
