I'm a forty-something American woman who is addicted to the SSHG pairing, relatively new to this fandom. I'm also considering starting some original fiction soon...

I will definitely be updating regularly -- I have a complete draft, and it's really more a matter of how backed up the queue is than anything else at this point (the admins are very busy, as you might imagine, so it can take several days after I post for a chapter to move through the queue). Really great chapter - I dont think Severus or Hermione knows the extent of their true feelings- It provides a great build up.

Good set-up of how Severus is discovering some gentle feelings for Hermione. I enjoy a lead in like this because it makes the story believable.

Hooray for happily ever afters! I'm so glad they got their happy ending. I was going to tell him that most men bring flowers to commence courting, not patents, but she seemed thrilled, so I'll just let it go, LOL. I thought the back and forth, "it would be awkward to call you professor," conversation was fun, but thank goodness they were in public or I could see neither of them wanting to have to last word and this getting out of hand. Who am I kidding? I would have loved to see that scene! Very nice work on this chapter and the story as a whole.

Hehehe, I figured she'd be impressed by something totally unconventional, and he'd be out of practice with conventional courting techniques (plus I had to figure out how to work that quote in! ). Hehehe, I can imagine that getting out of hand really fast -- too bad JKR didn't write another book, with a sentence that lent itself to lemons!
