*sigh* :)  That was lovely. And great usurping of the Fidelius!

Response from gingertart (Author of Out of the Shadows Came a Rose)

I always thought that must be a way around that spell if you were logical enough!

Heee... I love the image of her dumping the disgusting water on Ron's head! What a great start, GT! Though I can't help but wonder when Severus will arrive!!! (Luckily for me this fic is finished!) ;)

Response from gingertart (Author of Out of the Shadows Came a Rose)

Be assured that I don't post WIPs so you're safe - all will be revealed! And I don't want anything really bad to happen to Ron but dirty dish-water seemed appropriate at the time.

I've loved reading this story from beginning to end today.  It was a perfect way to relax on a Sunday afternoon.I had wonder when Rose would make her appearance, and I see it will be another nine months before she greets her three parents.  Thank you for sharing this lovely story!Beth

LOL!  Uppity is a hoot, isn't she?  I hope there will be lots of babies in the future for her to care for.I hope it won't take long for Stott and Miss Carrow will be brought in before they can get up to any more mischief.  The "Dream Team" was very clever in the way they worked out who did the dirty deed, but I felt sorry for Lucius when he realized what he had done. Now it's time for Hermione to make an honest man out of Severus.  *grins*Beth

Response from gingertart (Author of Out of the Shadows Came a Rose)

But does Severus want to become an honest man? Could he handle it?

That Gaius Stott is bad piece of work, but what caught my attention was his girlfriend—or wife.  Everyone seemed to think she was familiar, but didn't know who she is.  Hummm. Somthing is fishy about this.It can't be long now, not if Hugo is settling into the right position for his birth.  Hopefully Severus' allies can muster the necessary clout to assure he will not sent to Azkaban.  I don't think I could stand that.Very interesting chapter!Beth

"Just a couple of unsung heroes," Severus said, in his smooth, scathing voice. "Do go back to whatever you were doing and don't mind us; we are leaving. Hermione?"What a wonderful chapter!  I just about lost it when Severus called Hermione by name on their way out the door.  Well done!Beth

Heehee, yes, Snape couldn't resist a subtle dig there!

I wonder if Severus and Hermione will decide to marry and move to Hogwarts?  They could still be part of the family they'd begun at the Manor, and... well, I just wondering... it would be the perfect solution for the three of them to still be together...I think Hogwarts would be a marvelous place to raise their son.  Severus could continue his research and teach advanced Potions if he chose,  and Hermione could continue her studies into archaic curses.  They could visit Lucius whenever the hols roll around.  Voilá!  Everyone gets something they want.I really like all the possibilities you bring to every chapter!Beth

Well now...  this is working out much nicer than I had hoped.  Lucius, Hermione, and Severus can be together, meet all the conditions of the custody spell, and work on undoing the curses Hermione was working on when she first came to Malfoy Manor.  Woo hoo!Beth

My emotions were flying high when all of the twenty necessary guarantors came forward to stand for Severus' bail.  I just felt like cheering.  *\o/*   *\o/*   *\o/*   *\o/*   *\o/*  I couldn't help but chuckle at the tention between Hermione and Daphne, and the attention that she was paying to Snape.  If I didn't know better (and I don't) I think that Miss Greengrass has her eye on Severus for her own personal reasons. Thanks for this wonderful chapter.Beth

Thanks for your lovely reviews! As for Daphne, I think she had a bit of a crush on her head of house when she was a schoolgirl...

I'm glad Severus is going to carry his and Hermione's son to full term.  I just couldn't bare the thought of any other outcome.  And I like the idea of Hermione staying at Malfoy Manor.  I imagine Severus will be fairly prickly at first, but hopefully they will be able to recall what drew them together in the first place... it was just more than a desire for sex... I'd bet my wand on it.The "splinched Apparition" form of a magical delivery is a brilliant notion!  Go you!Beth

Response from gingertart (Author of Out of the Shadows Came a Rose)

Hee! Oh yes, Snape might snap and snarl but he always does the right thing in the end, doesn't he?

"Since when is being an intellectual sexy?" "You have no idea," he growled."Detention, Professor?""Absolutely."True!  All of it is true.  And now, without breaking the Fidelius Charm, she has managed to queue Ginny and Harry into the mix. I wonder what the three Slytherin's reactions will be when she has to tell them about that?Beth

Response from braye27 (Reviewer)

PS-  And why did Lucius seem a bit put-out with Hermione at the breakfast table?  Does he have his cap set on her, too?Beth

Response from gingertart (Author of Out of the Shadows Came a Rose)

I think Lucius may be just a little jealous - of whom, maybe even he doesn't quite know...

Woo hoo!  Snape is back!  I was tickled that he had "revealed" himself by speaking to Hermione thinking he was addressing Lucius.  Well done. They are making good progress dismantling the curses, and I can't help but wonder who the "powerful wizard" mentioned really is and why he was cursed.Hermione is gracious, Lucius has become somewhat reformed, Ron is taking good advice, and Snape is as prickly as ever.  I love it.  Beth

Great premise and great writing!  I love stories that are tied to ancient myths and legends, and if you throw in ancient languages, well, I'm totally hooked!!!  Add alchemy and I'm completely enslaved.Beth

Thank you so much for commenting! I'm delighted that you enjoyed my first attempt to write SSHG (yes, it was meant to be SSHG but an arrogant blond wizard shouldered his way through the wards and insisted on being involved. I was too scared to stand in his way...)
