My poor son. To think he's been so mistreated - and by my own sister! How dare she be so horrid to her own blood? Well, at least I have one thing to be thankful to Potter for. He's taken in my boy and given him a life back. Thanks for letting me know.

*dies a little inside while the text goblins point and laugh*I could've sworn I fixed that, too... I've been editing that story so much that I knew some bits of the story by heart, and my beta commented that coffee would be better for sobering up than tea, so finally this mess has been taken care of.If you picked your way through that run-on sentence, then I'll just say there won't be any more hot beverages in my fics for awhile. =]
This fic was rec'd over at Potter Place. I'm not usually a HP/DM fan, but since it was a relatively short one-shot, I thought I'd take a look. I thought it was quite good. The premise was great and the tension between Harry and Draco was well-done. I did notice one little boo-boo. You have Harry making a pot of coffee, sipping a cup of tea, and finishing a cup of coffee. Looks like you changed tea to coffee or vice-versa and missed one of the references. Other than that, I thought this was a really nice little tale. I hope you get some more reads (and reviews!) because of the Potter Place rec. Keep up the good work.

What kills me about this mistake was that Southern pointed it out to me the first time I submitted it... and I could've sworn I fixed it! Anyway, thanks so much for the r&r. This fic took alot out of me in writing and revising, and I appreciate the comment.
I really liked this story! This is the perfect story to suggest for someone who is new to HP/DM. It's well-written, and I can almost feel the longing they have for each other. Well done, SSL!

I stumbled onto this story just today and really enjoyed it. Nice twist with Voldy leaving a Horcrux in Bella (unless that was just her psycho mind talking) and I'd love to see it as a multi-chaptered fic with lots of detail, but I'm sure that you're still exhausted from just writing this! Well done. HH

Thanks! Actually, I used the Bella-Horcrux idea when I wrote my first SS/HG fic - which later was trashed, so I recycled it here. :-)And because I seem to only have the attention-span for one-shots, this won't be expanded into any more chapters... however, I did write a sequel to this fic (though it's set in Puerto Rico, and it's a romantic comedy - all it needs is a beta.). Thanks for reading.
