All is not as it seems. The world of wizards is full of lies and half-truths.
Over twenty years ago, Severus Snape fell in love with Lily Evans, and he never stopped loving her. His every move, his every thought, is purely for her. And he has only one place, a room, hidden deep under the lake, where he can relax, not worry about whom he is spying on, what he should be saying and doing, where his loyalties lie. Somewhere he can reminisce about his childhood days there with Lily, to allow himself space to grieve.
That though, as with everything else, is about to change.

Uh-oh. That hair is gonna be torture for the poor guy. Then again, I'm think that he's basically over Lily now that he got some action. ;) I could be wrong, though. I think he's going to end up with Hermione in the end, by the way you put it, but I'd enjoy the story if he ended up with Lily, too.Yay for this chapter, bring on the next one!

post-coitus conversational skills.”
I'd write a whole story just to be able to use those lines. I'm having such a great time with this; the premise is fresh and the characterizations are wonderful. Can't wait to see what happens when Severus finds that hair.

At a guess, I'd say six or seven chapters until the end (I've got four planned, but then right back at the start it was only going to be about ten chapters and I'm up to thirteen now!)

Wonderfully whoa! hot! I love that Hermione gives his sas. But I'm still confused about Lily being alive. Didn't she die and give Harry the protection of her sacrifice? What's up with that? And the single strand of hair? hum... polyjuice potion anyone?

No! No! NO! Please I beg of you, don't take Snape away from Hermione. This is so gut-wrenching! But it is so good. It's like a train wreck - you can't stop yourself from watching it all blow up in your face! Because someone is going to find that damn red hair! And then the shit is gonna hit the fan!

Very hot! Poor Severus! He deserves to be happy! I wonder what he will think when he finds that one long strand of red hair? Will he think it's recent or left from long ago? I am glad Hermione defied the Headmaster and met him!

Oh no... that one hair is going to cause such problems. But I am very glad to hear Lily say that she is willing to do what it takes to make Severus happy. Right now it is Hermione who would make him happy. The Lily walking around now is not the Lily that Severus was friends with, the one he was in love with.

I'm very surprised that the ever gaurded Potions master opened up to Hermione so freely. That's quite a secret to let out after such a short trist. He must have some pretty deep feelings for her - I guess he left Lily's memory pretty quickly after all :)
