I am so glad you liked the ending!! I had to have a happy ending-- because severus and hermione are obviously meant to be 
As for an epilogue, hehe, I can't promise anything. Right now, I'm head over heels deep in another fic that I refuse to post until I'm completely finished, knowing my lazy arse Muse, but maybe after that... Thanks for the review!

And I think that after the war, Severus would take charge and go after Hermione *sigh* Glad it was worth the wait-- I had a crisis sadly take me away from ss/hg reading and writing for awhile, and I'm glad to be back. A fun fic! It's clear to the reader what Snape's role is, though Hermione is too muddled to notice. ;-D A bit less clear is how Snape feels, though I suspect we'll find out soon. Couldn't H have scourgified herself, though?

Hermione is too muddled to notice! One reviewer referred to her as a dunderhead, lol! As for the Scourgify, so here's my thought process on that: Hermione very well could have Scourgified herself clean. I actually almost took that part out of the story, but left it in to give readers a clue as to how just upset H was. She wasn't thinking straight, as she had just realized for the first time that the man she's in love with is most likely with another woman. She was thinking with her emotions, not her brain. And she wanted to leave, so she took the first chance she got and left.
oh awesome! that moment where he said "hermione" with his hand on her face was priceless :)

Ahhh, what torture. I can't wait till the next chapter, hopefully it gets better. And now I'm also insanely curious of who Prof. Sinistra's fiancé is.

I have just found this story and I am really, really enjoying it. The plot is one that I have seen infrequently, the characterisations are very good even though Snape is 'lighter' in mood which is understandable in the context that Lord 'Mouldy Wart' has been defeated. How horrible for Hermione to think that she has lost him (I felt like crying)...and then this chapter - when you think they are going to get together, but NO...Arrggh! I feel like shouting at them "NO YOU HAVE IT ALL WRONG! Then again maybe you (author) have evil plans to marry him off to Sinistra (EEEK!). Unfortunately all that is left to do is to bite my nails and wait for the next chapter.Cheers.
