And I adored the way in which you were able to balance Hermione's reactions between natural fear and Hermione-like stubborness. A tough act to pull off, but you did it splendidly. Oh crap.  Both Severus & Hermione seem to have reconciled (great makeup sex), but now it looks like Krum has spoiled their lovely detente.  great timing, you Quidditch oaf.  In his way, he's just as interfering and pesty as Morgen.  (How about putting him together w/Morgen--now that's a pair).

"detachment", Snape thinks.  Yeah, right .   Having of all people, Viktor Krum visit Hogwarts is the surest thing to light a much needed fire under Severus' arse and stop sitting on the fence about Hermione.  After all, she's his like, betrothed now?!  dun dun DUN!

i loved this chapter and am excited for the next one. i saw your bit on livejournal about your frustration with your lack of reviews, and so i've switched from being a "silent reader" to express my appreciation for you and your stories, especially this one. i hope to see another chapter soon!
