Hermione is at a loss, physically exhausted from her endless expectations and duties, and emotionally deserted, from the after effects of the war and her personal battles. From there, she accidentally stumbles upon a situation that ultimately, and quite literally, transports her from the world that is slowly starting to slip from her fingertips and into one that proves to be impossible to stay in... and, as time wears on, even more impossible to leave.
