Oh, goody! Snape at his snarkiest while attending a bored-to-death conference! Definitely a case of better the devil you know. It's nice to know the man still has the ability to clear a table with a single glare. I'm rather intrigued by just how closely they've been following each other's careers, right down to Herbology articles and footnotes. Hee hee! This is gonna be fun!

euww, that Umber is slimy.  I hope he doesn't slip her a love potion. Wouldn't put it past him.  But I think in this case he wants to discredit Snape.  Looking forward to the next!

This is so fun! So who's watching them?

Well, the ruse was blown. IF they were supposedly trying to get Umber to think they were having a 'lover's spat' they just blew it.  They seem more attracted to each other than ever.

Hmm, so Umber was spying on them and he thinks he can get Hermione to spout of her hatred of Snape...  He's going to be in for a shock isn't he?  Or has he somehow added his "super-serum" to their milk tea?  If that's the case I think everyone will find the bluntness from the two of them to be a bit of a shock (well on Hermione's part anyway).  ;)

This is weaving into quite a mystery. I am really enjoying it so far. And Snape and Hermione's relationship is developing nicely.
