What an excellent, well written story!  As Slytherin to her Gryffindor, Killian is a worthy adversary, but more of a kindred spirit in reality.  He's quite observant, insightful and suave for a teenager.  One of the best OCs I've seen in a long time.  Good luck to him and Hermione!

What a wonderfully written story.  I am primarily an SS-HG shipper, but above all I love a good story and this one fills the bill perfectly.  Killian is the best!

Oh, this is marvelous.  I'm glad you didn't put the two of them together- this ending is better, with just this one chance encounter.  Too bad that she meets him now, instead of four years ago.  She could really use an intellectual equal.

What a great story!  I am not always a fan of oc's, but I liked Killian.  In fact I wouldn't mind reading a continuation of this story (if you were so inclined to write one!) For a short story, you did well giving real personality to your character, and a sweetness to the story that didn't feel sappy.  Thanks for posting it

Hey there, what a nice story.  I don't always care for original characters as the main focus, but there is nothing to dislike about Killian, or the way he and Hermione connect.  He is interesting, and they seem perfect for each other.
