She slowly undid the buttons of his coat and removed it.
It had been hanging in her half empty closet for over a year now. A haunting reminder of the man she once loved. It was getting more and more difficult to see it every morning as she dressed.
She sat on the edge of her bed, holding the coat; his smell no longer lingered on it.
She went back to the closet and retrieved her Muggle sewing kit. She slowly cut the buttons off the coat, one by one, and placed them in a Transfigured heart-shaped box for safekeeping.
