What can I say a 30 something mother of 1 who works as a clinical chemist in a path lab and has a 'thing', if its possible to have a 'thing' for a character, for a certain Potions Master.
RL has stalled the plot bunnies and I've no idea if/when I'll feel like writing again.

An interseting beginning. I like the plot devices -- the memberall and the portkey. I hope you do decide to complete the other two chapters you have "on the drawing board." I'm very interested to see where your story will go.Beth

I'm looking forward to finding out what he's been doing for six years and why he's been unable to contact her in all that time. Given a reasonable explanation, I'd be able to fall in love with this story. I understand the constraints of the format, however, so I"ll say that what we do see in lovely and well-written.

Hold it - six years after his alleged death, no signs in between, and she jumps in his bed about five minutes after she found out that he is still alive? No questions asked whatsoever? I know this is Fan FICTION, but it is too irrational for my taste. I like the love scene, but I would have preferred at least some "get acquainted again" phase beforehand.

Firstly, thank you for taking time to post a review.I know the story is brief, the challenge was to use exactly 750 words. As a result I think it deserves at least another two chapters to explain certain aspects of this piece. The initial piece I wrote was way over the word limit.
I hope you bare with me, and give this another chance.

750 words? OMG! Okay, now I understand the problem.I must admit that I am a firm believer in "the design has to follow the function, not the other way around", so this may simply not have been my piece of cake. Nonetheless, the love scene IS very nice and I am looking forward to reading something less limited from you.
I loved it, I am adicted to stories where Hermione and Severus are reunited:-))

Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad you liked it. The challenge was to use exactly 750 words. When I initially wrote the piece it was way over the limit and then I remebered a piece of advice Subversa gave me. That sometimes less is infact more.I'm glad it worked for you.
did he know she still held a candle for him 6 years later or was he just hoping?

First off thank you for reviewing, secondly I have plans for at least another two chapters that give background to this short piece, one from Snape's POV and one from Hermione's.Who knows the plot bunny might even provide the conversation they have the morning after. :)
This was amazing! Great job! I like the idea of the two of them just having stolen moments here and there.

If you stick strictly to canon, that is all they would have been able to have, I am hoping to add more to the story maybe form each POV, we'll see where the plot bunny takes things.Thank you for taking time to review.

Yes, this was definitively the missing epilogue in Book 7.

They had much to discuss, but lying here, waking in his arms, was a perfect place to start a new life... for them both. Awwww! I do so love happy endings, or happy beginnings as the case may be. Now I wonder how he would explain what took him so long? She's so happy he's alive, I doubt she'll think to ask for a while! Lovely imagery in this.
