I like the discussion between Severus and Hermione about the treatment of Remus. It brings up the ethics of human experimentation.

Game night, eh? Poor Severus. At least he has Hermione's adult variations to look forward to. Strip Twister was a hoot! I wonder if anyone could convince the Room of Requirement that they really, really needed an IMAX theatre complete with raked seating and a full concession bar.

Hermione's concerns over Remus are understandable, but I loved to see her facing the reality of the actual testing. Safeguards have to be in place on both sides. It's not just words and numbers on a page anymore!

Thanks for posting this earlier than you had planned. It was a truly squeeworthy surprise. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh I was so excited to see this because I remebered you saying no more until it was finished.  I am sorry to hear about the health problems. Hopefully, you are all better or on the mend now.  This story has a special spot in my heart.  I cannot wait until it is all posted so I can read it all in one go!

Thanks for the background on Tiresias.  I love Greek Mythology.  I had never actually read this one before despite a college course on Greek Myth and another one on Greek Lit in Translation.

I really am enjoying this.  Poor Severus was so distressed.  Him losing her is just to awful to contemplate.  I read another story quite a while ago on another site.  It was SS/OC and he was in love with his apprentice.  It covers their whole lives together and she dies first.  It was so horribly painful.  Good story, but I doubt I'll read it again, just because I can't deal with the ending.  LOL.  Anyway, so far I'm loving this.

what a blessing!  this holiday time is truly a time for miracles!  thanks so much for this wonderful update.  the scene with michael, severus and hermione was priceless.  love the line about cats and potions ingrediants! 
                                        

Was very happy (and surprised) to see an update to this story since it had been so long.  Actually had to go back and re-read it, which I enjoyed more than the first time.  Hope we don't have to wait long (3 weeks tops!) for an update.

Squeee! I was so happy to see this while I was catching up from the holidays.  Wonderful as always.  I wonder what Senalda has to do with Hermione's apprenticeship?

I know I left a review at another site but I had to leave one here as well. You made my Christmas! During a down time on Christmas Eve, I popped in and saw that you had updated Dances! Whoohooo! It was an early Christmas present. I have finally made the time to review because I didn't want you to think that nobody cared.

Anyway, on to the review....thank heavens, Severus outed Tenbrook. There was just something about him that I just couldn't stomach so I wasn't disappointed that she wouldn't be apprenticing with him...Umbridge, a dear lady, really. And we are getting a little more info on the enchantment, too. Nicely done. I'm so very glad that you have continued this story and that you plan to finish it. I had just started re-reading it because I enjoy it so much. Thank you for continuing to work on it...hmm, six chapters simultaneously?! Shades of Hermione! I look forward to your next posting.

Such a joy to see an update to this wonderful story!  What a holiday gift you give us.  I loved how Severus handled Tenbrook.  I know it has been a long while since you have written anything to add to this story but it all came flooding back to my memory with this chapter.  So well written.  I can't wait to read the rest when you post it.
