I read this story after seeing it recommended on WIKTT and think it is great. I have read it all through from the beginning in a few days and I am really looking foward to the next update.

I like the way that the story develops from the original bet and I think the characters are well written and in keeping with canon. There are some interesting new characters in there as well.

forever ia right!! We'd been waiting with our mouths open for the next drop. really really hope your next update is faster. we're having a bit of trouble understanding hermione's reaction. Does she or does she not want a commmitment? Sympathise with poor severus's confusion.

Pearle -I absolutely adore this story! Here are some of the reasons...Your pacing is so considered and balanced -- I love the way you allow the events to unfold rather than rush or force developments before their time. And what I at first assumed would be merely a plot device to get our favorite couple horizontal (and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that!) has in fact proven to be a gateway to a lovingly realized and skillfully rendered universe. I'm so grateful that you didn't just consummate the attraction and then tag on a suggested happily ever after ending. As it is, many of the post-consummation developments are the most interesting. The apprenticeship question, the power of the necklace and the Claiming, the response of the wizarding world to the pairing, the dilemma of the ex-Death Eater facing the future. You've provided one imaginative and intriguing development after another. Love it!!!Your OCs are compelling and whole. I really enjoy that we don't necessarily know the motives behind every character's actions (Edmund, for instance) -- making this world all the more plausible while allowing plenty of room for almost anything to happen.When dealing with characters as scholarly as HG and SS, it is a true challenge to make their experiments, theories, and academic discourse believable, and I am utterly in awe of your extraordinary ability to come up with one convincing exchange after another, drawing on Rowling's magical universe, herbal lore, and scientific theory. Omg this is so far absolutely fabulous! ^_^  I've of course gotten many recs for this fic, but I was finally convinced by sshg316 on LJ to get my lazy bum over here and read it lol.  How sensual, the tango!! I've always wanted to learn and I'm anxious to see how you portray it's elegance through writing.  Severus and Hermione dancing the tango can only lead to sensuality ;)

Love it how they touch more and more difficult to talk about issues, and I'm very curious what will come out of the meeting with Tenbrook - are the bad gut feelings of Severus right or are they only based on his general suspiciousness against life resp. on his insecurities? At least the 'claiming' should help the last.

I most especially liked the late evening conversation which started the chapter.  It struck me as quite realistic, the sort of thing that goes on between couples who are emotionally invested and anxious.  They seem to trade off winding each other up and reassuring each other until one ends up lying awake wondering how they ended up discussing that topic.  Nicely done.Severus' post-war fangirl club isa hoot.

I just really like this story, you're really taking the time to have SS and HG develop their relationship- from falling in love to the future marriage. The story's pacing is perfect. Nice mix of narrator insight and dialogue.

The cliffie is evil, I knew I had a bad feeling about Tenbrook before but now I feel even worst.  Can't wait for more
