A really sweet chapter!  I'm tickled that Severus and Hermione are beginning to talk (in general terms) about personal things like marriage (in general) and children (in general).Clearly little Lily Potter is enamored of our Headmaster, and little-by-little I think he is growing accustomed to her, as well.I just hope that Ginny can tame her matchmaking tendencies enough that she doesn't scare Severus off.Beth

You see, babies have no prejudice, they can cut through all the layers and get to the person beneath.  Like puppies, really! :)

I do hope Ginny gives them a nudge- to the mistletoe!.I could see (read) Severus as a father, he has got a heart really underneath all those layers of robes and something else maybe (but that's for Hermione to find out I think hehe). Great update, look foward to more as ever. x 

*sigh* I should know Severus quite well now but this slowliness of him in things of the heart is getting on my nerves sometimes. And she is no better than him.

Ohhh, the end of this chapter is so sweet. Interesting to see McGonagall matchmaking, usually she is rather inhibiting to a Severus/Hermione relationship in most fanfics. I do like the mention of AD/MM, the pairing always made sense to me. Keep up the good work!

Let's see....  Remus and Tonks, Filius, Minerva, and Albus all know of Severus' feeling for Hermione.  And he, of course, is just now allowing himself to think about himself and Hermione in those terms.She really is good for him, and to him, and I get "the warm squishies" when I think about how fine it will be when the Headmaster feels confident enough to declare his intentions to her.Well done!Beth
