Oh, that was just charming.  Good dialogue use, though it does seem rather uncharacteristic for Severus to toss a potion after all that work.  At the very least, he could bottle it and store it.  I do like Hermione's replies, where she gives as good as she gets.  Shows a good level of comfort, as well as trust.
