Drama Romance General Friendship Potions Under Duress 4,433 Words 1 Chapter Complete
Hermione Granger Severus Snape

The populace of the Wizarding world was split in their decision of what to call him. Those who were on the side of the light called him a hero for his gallant service and the enumerable sacrifices he made that led to the fall of Lord Voldemort. Those who fell with the Dark Lord knew of him only as a traitor or turncoat, worthy of nothing more than the cold, endless sleep of death.

Very nicely done. I love the slow unfolding of their relationship. Thankfully he had the good sense to lie to the Healer. And thank you for the ray of hope at the end.

Bittersweet, lovely and hopeful.  I loved every word.  It's strange how fate moves her hand over all of us.  Well done!!! :)

Response from Laralee (Author of A Series of Genuine Conversations)

Thank you for reading, and for the great review! Fate has a way of twisting the strings so that things work out in ways we never expected.

Normally, I dislike SS/HG stories.  Your story I found to be genuinely heartfelt, and it's one of the very, very few I would recommend to others.  Bravo.

Mmm! That was like just a spoonful of my favorite ice cream... I want more! Well done!

Response from Laralee (Author of A Series of Genuine Conversations)

I think this is one of my favorite reviews! Anytime my work is compared to ice cream is a good time, indeed. If you are interested, I have several stories posted on Ashwinder. Thanks for the fantastic review.

Wonderful story! I like the way you showed the progression of their relationship-very realistic. BTW I agree with them Heart of Darkness was not an engaging read for me either. Good use of meeting time ;).

Response from Laralee (Author of A Series of Genuine Conversations)

Thank you very much! Heart of Darkness wasn't my favorite book, and the only reason it was allowed in my story was because it was mentioned in my meeting. I agree, very good use of my meeting time. Thanks for the review.

It's absolutely wonderful. I really hope she'll wake up so they can begin the rest of their lives.

What a lovely story. I feel that her incapacitation was the only way Severus would have been able to confess his feelings so eloquently. If she had been awake and responsive, she would not have given him the chance to finish. Endless lemons would have interrupted his speech. But that would have been nice, too. I'm sure after she recovers, there will be lemons upon lemons in their future.Great job. When the muse strikes, it is hard to ignore.

Response from Laralee (Author of A Series of Genuine Conversations)

Enough lemons to fill a grove I would imagine. I’m glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading and for the wonderful review!

yay, a happy ending! I'm glad you left it open ended like that, so mentally you could insert whatever future together you'd like. (or write another fic to follow it ;) )
