When Hermione discovers that an incurable Snape has been left to waste in a secret hospital ward, she sets out to do what so many have failed to do before and cure him.
This is my response to the Dictionary Drabble Challenge. The chapters have to be less than one thousand words and contain the listed words.

i had missed the second installment, so i just read two and three and now i'm full of questions, which i expect will be answered as the story goes along. like, who ARE these people(?) anyway? especially the wheezing creepy one. very strange, but also strangely compelling.

Thank you for the review and the rating. I'll divulge more as the Dictionary Challenge words come out, so there should be roughly one chapter per week. It's difficult to put much in when the chapter has to be less than a thousand words and at least seven of them have to be there... lol. I will drop clues as I go because I'm cruel like that :D

lol... I suppose that there was the risk of that scenario when I started this story... Hermione rushing to the rescue! Hopefully I may dazzle with the intrigue enough to hide the predictability of the plot :D. Thanks for the review :)

Its okay that Hermione comes into rescue him. We need more of this reverse type of fairy tale. Hermione can save her own self thankyouverymuch. Severus could use some cossetting!!

I am so happy to see the update, you have a very interesting plot going on and I look forward to read more. Especially to find out who the two characters plotting against Hermione and Severus; I am guessing that one of them, the older with lacking teaths, are Filch, the Caretaker. But, who is the one "in charge"? Most likely someone who didn't come out of the war smelling of roses? If you stick to canon, it wön't be any of the Malfoys, they came of easily enough, but who? I look forward to the next update!

You decided to continue! And with a solid plot no less! I don't think I've read a story involving Hermione healing Snape from Nagini's bite which included someone trying to work against her. This should be intriguing.

Good use of some tough words! An interesting, dark chapter. Good for you! Well done.and a mysterious conversatton. We have someone with few teeth, who has a wheezy employer (possibly non-human?), someone who doesn't like to hear Hermione insulted, but is willing to help mysterious boss keep Snape in a coma. Well, you got me puzzled.

Hello Pookah :) Thank you!I had to think carefully about that little chat (not easily done at two am... lol!), because I had so few words left to convey such a lot. I'll attempt to put more in the next chapters... my aim is to give you clues and hints and let you have fun trying to work it out without just coming across as downright confusing... *fingers crossed that I'm doing okay so far*.
I'm very touched by this. Can I hope for a sequel?

This is an excellent response to a dictionary challenge. I was totally unaware it was a challenge until I read the list of words at the end. You incorporated them beautifully. This is an intriguing tale and was sad to see you intended it as a oneshot. The concept of healing through forgiveness would be quite interesting to follow. I do hope you will consider continuing this piece or perhaps writing a companion piece from Snape's point of view.

I'd like to encourage you to continue this touching tale. I see in an earlier review, it was discussed whether these stories could become chaptered stories. YES! Beaweasley2 and I have continuing dictionary stories, hers inspired mine. My chapter four is in queue now, and five in beta. It's interesting, although the word list I have now for chapter six is tough to go on. but give it a try!I'd be happy to discuss plot twists and cannon stuff with you if you want to kick some ideas around. Kicking ideas around sounds like fun and would be most useful; also, I really need to improve my grammar and punctuation. Yeah... could be fun! Familiarising myself with new words, that adrenaline rush of the challenge and learning new and more sophisticated writing techniques; what am I waiting for? lol.
