I'm a 30 something home-maker, writer and researcher. Harry Potter fanfiction is my passion and my great escape from everything. I am deeply in love with Severus Snape and he is the only man I would ever consider leaving my husband for. I am most fond of happy endings. Life is too full of angst and heartache, my dreams and thoughts need something more uplifting.
I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived in India, Poland and now, obviously the UK.
I love food, so many of my stories will have detailed descriptions of things I'm currently craving. I also love travelling, the arts and crafts, cooking, baking, oil painting, especially the pre-Raphaelites, literature and culture in general. My favourite colours are at present are royal purple, silver, emerald green, true red and fucshia. Colour is like music, it speaks silently to the soul when it needs it most.

Oh, and I forgot to mention how much I am liking the involvement of the Malfoys. It's nice to see Hermione get the mom she deserves, from such an interesting source!

Thank you. Cissy of course is not lily-white, she has reasons for her behaviour. But then, who doesn't. It is good though that what started out as politically useful has in her mind grown to true affection and love.
You know, I have overlooked this story for the longest time. I don't know why, but somehow I came to the conclucion that the tittle of the story and that Severus met his mother ment that this story was some kind of vampire story, and most likely with a very dark Severus who would do his best to hurt and humiliate Hermione, and she would like a good, little doormat, forgive and forget any wrongdoings for the tiniest, sloppy excuse due to Severus doing whatever he did because he loved her. Don't ask me why and how I came up with the idea, just take my excuse for being totally wrong in my jugdement. I started reading this morning, it is now nearly the next morning and I have enjoyed every chapter. What a brilliant and fantastic story, I absolutely, truly, most sincerely love it. I just adore your characters, I love the bashing of Ginny and Molly, I love how you dealt with the aftermath and consequences of the war. Your Luna is priceless and I am more than willing to let Cissy adopt me too:-)) Again, an absolutely fantastic story and you wont know how much I look forward to read more!!!

I'm so glad to see that things just might work out between Severus and Hermione; even if he doesn't know it yet. I think the idea of a Halloween Feast is absolutely perfect. And I'm sure the Malfoy's won't pass up the opportunity.

Yes, I definitely think that the more allies the better when going up against Severus. I just hope it works as well as she is wanting it to. I don't think I had quite realized the length of time that had passed since her birthday. They must talk soon! Hopefully this feast is a step in the right direction. Looking forward to more.

Thank you so much. I think the Feast is going to do a lot to help advance their relationship. I think that Severus is smart enough to use what's given to him when he realises he has backed himself into a corner with his own stubborness.
I'm so glad that Hermione and Minerva were able to have such a good heart to heart talk--Cissy may be stepping into the role of surrogate mother for Hermione, but I always saw Minerva as a kind of doting aunt for her. And having a member of Hogwarts' staff on her side will be a bonus for her and Severus in the future.Liked the idea that Hermione's dark magic may have been influencing her earlier behavior with Severus--quite frankly, I'd forgotten that she was struggling with its influence as well as Harry, Ron and the others!Looking forward to the events of the Halloween Ball...maybe Harry and Luna can get in a dance before Ginny goes completely nuts...

Thank you for the review. Yes, I do see Minerva as a kind of doting aunt, sometimes annoyingly interfearing but always well meaning.Hermione's darkness is easily missed since she's not as overtly demonstrative but it is there. But I did want to show that just because one thinks one's got a handle on it that it does not really go away.Harry and Luna don't get a dance. But I think you will be pleased with the outcome of the Feast.

Thank you. I think although the Malfoys did have ulterior motives for their actions that they have grown to genuinely care for Hermione.
