Admittedly, I am a 'happy endings' story kind of gal.  I am sad to see Ron is not getting better and looks as though he probably won't make it.   I am glad that Harry is seeing some sense and will hopefully realize all that Snape has actually done.  I am also concerned about Snape and all he has to do as a spy.  I hope he continues to be careful and things turn out well.
This is such a great story and I'll be looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Well, that's an interesting turn.  I am glad, though, that Harry can say goodbye before the end.

Nice.  I'm glad to see that Harry is a bit sensible and at least stopping to listen and think a bit.  Nicely written chapter, the emotion from Harry was especially enjoyable to read. Looking forward to the next chapters!

I have nothing clever in inciteful to say.  My only thoughts are about how wonderful this story is to read.  At the end of each chapter I wish for more.  Thank you so much for fixing the ills of DH.

This situation is the best "mistake" Snape could have made.

Eeks!  I sure hope nobody else comes through the door or floo, with Harry inside and unhexed -- and Snape guarding the door.  Very glad Hermione kept Snapey safe from hot-headed Harry.  Thanks for updating!

Harry knows.  Hopefully he will accept Hermione's reassurances about Snape. :)

It makes me bouncy and happy that you can mix together the wry humor with the upsetting war news. It makes for a fantastic read!!!

This was my favorite part of the chapter "Snape rolled his eyes. “You can relax, Minerva. I have not touched your cub, nor do I plan to.”

“And has she touched you?”

Snape and Hermione both gaped, wide-eyed at the old witch. “NO!” they cried in unison.

She chuckled. “That's good, then.”  Snorfl!

It felt like a kick in the gut when Hermione realized that Ron is dying.  How terrible she must have felt to realize that her thoughts had been so focused on everything else that she hadn't taken a good look at her friend lately.

Regardless of Harry's reason for coming to the castle, I'm glad he got there in time to see Ron and say his goodbyes.  I'm glad Severus was there to urge Hermione to let Harry have this time with his friend.

It's a sad chapter all round, but it's also a helluva story.

How horribly sad for both of them to have to say their goodbyes to Ron! Hermione seemed to have gotten caught up in the subterfuge of being Snape's "pet", and really didn't have a chance to really LOOK at Ron. Now she has done, and she's finally had to come to grips that she's watching him die.

I'm glad Harry made it for the end, and is getting a chance to cop a clue about Severus. Hermione's goodbye was perfect.

So sad for Ron.  I didn't think anyone was going to let on to Harry that Snape was on the side of the Order, but I guess at this point there isn't much good that come from keeping it a secret.  Excellent chapter!  I can't wait to read more.

Secondly, very good chapter and thank you.  I always wanted Harry & Snape to have the "see I'm on your side" discussion.  I felt that JKR cheated Snape in that regard (among many others but I won't go into them here--I'll just read more fanfic).

What a facinating story.  I am quite enjoying the little twists and turns you throw in.  I very much like Severus and Hermione's personalities in this story.  Hermione is quite rational which is refreshing and how I've often pictured her.  I look forward to the next chapters.  Hopefully Irene doesn't trouble you too much.

OMG!  Harry just disarmed Draco!  Does this mean...?  Which wand was Draco using?

Severus had told Amycus that he thought the expected storm was near but not yet here.  Hopefully Amycus will be able to alleviate Alecto's suspicions about Severus' allegiances.

I hope Severus can find Harry before anyone else does.  And what will he say to Draco when he returns to take him out of the warded room?  What will Severus say to Harry when he finds him?

Oh, I wish the Grey Lady had decided to help them.  Then again maybe she doesn't know where Voldy hid it either.  I rather think she knows much more than she is telling, and can only hope she changes her mind. 

Perhaps Minerva and Hermione will gain some insight while they sleep.  Poor Severus.  I don't think he will be able to so much as close his eyes.
