I know Harry's worried, but he's coming across like an idiot. Remus is really the voice of reason in this. Narcissa, I think too is going to turn out to be smarter than we know. Another excellent chapter!

YAY!! I am so glad you like it... more as soon as they post it! I tried to keep him as true to his gruff self as possible, but I always thought that he would go hard for whoever he chose to love!

What a marvellous and intriguing first chapter. I can't wait to know more, I have almost as many questions as the Order, but unlike them, I will let Severus tell the tale as he pleases:-)) I love your Severus, snarky and harsh as ever, but extremely protective and loving towards the ones he loves, here Hermione and their son, just like my hero should be. Harry and Ron rushing ahead without other concerns than their own, as usual, and Molly who thinks she should know everything and everyone should be happy for her interference. You have nailed them perfectly. Albus should have informed them earlier, but he will get cudos for taking them to task. There are so many mysteries: Hermiones familiy, her blindness, her marriage, her reaction to Remus, I look forward to read more.

Excellent beginning!!! I love that despite whatever has occurred to bring Hermione to the state that she is in, Severus has taken it upon himself to bond to her and their little one and is there to protect them. I'm always in the mood for a good hurt/comfort and this looks like a great one! :D

It begins the summer before the Trio's final year. I am sticking to canon years - Hermione was taken in the summer of 1996 right before she was to go back for her 7th year. Next chapter as soon as it goes through the queue!
