Severus Snape has always been my fav character since I found HP. I enjoy dark, graphic stories, but will read some fluff and I love humour.

Somewhere no one could bother us for some time.” She rested her warm cheek against his and whispered in his ear, “Take me to the Grotto, Severus.” How very Slytherin of our Hermione!And now that she is free from the promise made in the Grotto, Hermione is in Severus' office "...destroying it.” Hell hath no fury like a certain pissed off Gryffindor witch!LOL, poor Severus. Yes, he deserves some level of retribution, but having his office torn apart? Umm umm umm umm umm. How will he repair his situation with the witch of his dreams?You were right. I did not see this coming. I had thought she would go think about what Phineas had told her, and come up with a plan, but I never considered the kind of utilitarian seduction she perpetrated on our Potions Master. A very clever witch, she is!!!I love "Consuming Me" and the way you tell their story is brilliant! Keep it coming, dear, and thank you.Beth

Okay, so I totally suck at predicting plot lines... I am so glad I continued reading this story, it's so good. The first few chapters were so dark that I wasn't certain about this story, but I love your writing so I decided to stick with it.(Your TimeTurner story is the bookmark link that leads me to PP). Anyway, fabulous story, I love it with the zeal of a convert.

Purrrrr... An angry, strong Hermione - do you have any idea how much I like that? Facing him, making him do what she wants, and he honest enough to tell her the truth (well, at least about that bit ;-) Well done, dear. And destroying his office would be a thing only a young and upset woman would do. Fits perfectly.

You're right, it could've been much worse for Hermione. I keep forgetting about her promise in the Grotto. I can't wait to see what Severus does to those two, I can't even describe. I know he's going to be very imaginative in his torture of them, that's for sure.

Greyback and Lestrange are not long for this world. Severus is going to tear them, piece by miserable piece, into a pile of bloody guts.I'm glad that Hermione's promise to Severus in the Grotto protected her, and that Ron and Harry found her in time to get her to Madam Pomfrey.This was a very tightly written chapter... everything happened "just in the nick of time." OMG! My heart was pounding so hard in my chest! Hermione got in a few good ones before they got her, and thank God one of Severus's misdeeds came in handy! He may not have been there in person, but he saved her just the same. And he used the "c" word again. Those bastards are doomed!!! Severus is going to lay such a hex weilding smack down on them, and I can't wait! Good for Ron for stepping up and being mature for once. He isn't given enough credit sometimes. Great chapter!
