I'm a 26-year-old Accounts Payable manager for a construction company. Basically, I'm paid to write checks and intimidate the menfolk around here. I live with my boyfriend and our dog. I wasn't sucked into the HP fandom until just after the release of HBP. So, I'm a newbie compared to most of the fans out there. I've written in several other fandoms (under different pennames) - Anita Blake, Buffy, X-Files, etc.

This is a beautiful story. I don't believe I've read better. I forgot to breathe during parts, laughed during parts, and cried a bit, too. Truly lovely.

Yay! This has been great, anogete!! The characterizations throughout have been wonderful. I loved that Hermione hadn't thought of getting him in bed before it happened, and her thoughts were perfect. I'm glad you're planning to write more fiction... I plan on reading them as soon as you post them! GG

Thank you! I am planning on writing more fic in this pairing. I've actually already written two one-shots. One is in a fic exchange, and the other is still undergoing revision before I send it off to a my beta.

Maybe in the future he and Hermione will figure out how to reverse the damage done to him and give him back his ability to father children. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it!

Aww... so sad to see the end of my favourite fic on here *sheds a few tears*, well done on 15 chapters of excellent writing, plot, characters and just generally. You did a wonderful job, and I enjoyed every second of reading this fic. I hope that I can find a new fic to check up on everyday, and that I will love, but I doubt it will be to the extent that I have loved this one. Eileen's note to Hermione was so lovely, and I see where the title of the fic tied in, I had a few questions about it, but it's all been cleared up. I hope Severus and Hermione have a happy life together. Congratulations again hun, will miss this fic loads.

Wheee !!!!! They made it!!!!! *sigh* Kinda bittersweet, this ending. On the one hand, I'm happy that they're together and eager to make a go of things, but I can't help but wonder how much Severus will have to go through with his mother's death. Having said that, I'm mostly sad that the story is over ! *sniff* Then again, you COULD always write a follow-up.....! *winks* Enjoyed the tale - thanks for sharing.

I thought about making it an all-around happy ending, but couldn't. People rarely live happily ever after. Anyway, glad you liked it!

I'm sorry to hear about your mother! I hope the doctors are able to help her. Cancer (the the tumors that go along with) is a scary thing. I've had so many people in my life be diagnosed. A good friend of mine at work has a rare form of stomach cancer, and they've given him only a few months to live. He's such a good person that it's upsetting to me that he has to go through such a difficult time. I don't know if I could keep so optimistic if I were in his place. Anyway, you're welcome for the story, and I really do home your mum gets some sort of treatment and gets better. ::hugs::
That was good. I thought she was going to be a virgin actually, but glad she wasn't! He seemed a bit quick into things, but considering what he'd been through, I'm not surprised. OK, now moving onto the last one!

No, no! I would never make Hermione a virgin in an SS/HG fic until she was in her 7th year at Hogwarts. I'm don't think Hermione would be the sort to have sex at Hogwarts, but I don't think she would be a nun after she graduates. Nor do I think she'd be sleeping with every Tom, Dick, and Harry that comes her way. Anyway, glad you enjoyed!

Sigh... well, I'm going to imagine that they figure out how to have babies, and they make a fortune on their potion. While it didn't help Eileen for very long, it was long enough for mother and son to have quality time together before her death. Thanks for a lovely story, and I'll be looking for your next fic!
